Description of the Playa del Carmen vacation apartment rental

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with oversized outside deck overlooking the pool, is the ideal choice if you like to be in the heart of it all. Just a very short walk to Playa del Carmen's famed Fifth Avenue, short walk to beaches, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and ferry to Cozumel.

Condo is equipped with tv and dvd player, washer and dryer, large refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and blender. And for those of you looking to rent a car during your stay in Playa, there is a parking space reserved for the condo. However, a car is absolutely not necessary if you are vacationing in Playa del Carmen and do not plan on visiting nearby towns.

Area Description

Fifth Avenue is two blocks away fine dining, fine shopping, nightclubs, live music. Close by is horseback riding, the ferry to Cozumel, area park attractions and is a short drive to Tulum ruins.

Playa del Carmen is a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere for those looking to have fun but maintain the feel of being on vacation

The apartment was very clean, bright, comfortable and very well equipped. It is a new-ish development and all the furniture and finishings were in perfect condition. All the rooms and bathrooms are of a good size and the balcony is indeed very large and overlooks the pool. It is just far enough away from 5th Avenue (a few minutes walk) and is also very handy for supermarkets and some good local (mexican) restaurants rather than eating on the touristy 5th all the time. The only downside for me was the noise generated by children around the central pool ( I don't have any!) and obviously famiilies do stay there.
