Description of the Playa del Carmen vacation condo rental

One of the newest luxury condos in Playa del Carmen, this property boats many ammenities you would hope to find at the best luxury resorts. A lighted private tennis court, opulent lobby with concierge, sauna and gym. Boasting one of the largest pools in Playa at over 270 feet long, it meanders along the lush tropical settings around the complex. A gated community with 24 hour security gives you peace of mind. Elevators will take you and your luggage to your 2nd floor 3 bedroom condo with a magnificent view of the golf course looking out from the large floor to ceiling windows from the octogonal shaped living room. Walk out on the numerous balconies to get a panaramic view of your lush tropical surroundings. Take an evening stroll to our waterfall cenote. Take the elevator to our roof top lounge area for a view of the magnificent Carribbean ocean and see the Island of Cozomel looming out of the warm waters.

Area Information

Located across the street from the famous white sands and warm tropical waters of the Carribbean, it is easy to see why this location is just perfect. A short walk to the Playa Plaza for some shopping or a short walk or taxi into the town of Playa del Carmen for a visit to the famous shopping of 5th Avenue, where silver shops and international cuisine from restaurants abound. Also located here is the ferry for a quick trip over the the Island of Cozomel where some of the best undersea diving in the world is located. Make a left out of the complex for a five minute walk to our bird sanctuary and view the peaceful tranquility of the Mexican forrest where tucans and monkey parrots abound in their natural settings. Mayan ruins are everywhere and are preserved sites all around Playa. Take a few hours out of your day to visit Tulum; an 800 year old ancient Mayan ruin about 30 minutes away. There is so much to do; nightclubs for evening entertainment, sailing, snorkeling, parasailing, horseback riding, beaching, scuba diving and the list goes on and on.

Our Stay in Playa Car

We rented this condo for 2 weeks and we'll never go back to an all-inclusive. This condo is spacious, beautiful and very clean. We were only 15 minutes walking from 5th Ave. We did our groceries at WalMart and Mega. You could easily wark to either and take a taxi back to the condo ($5.00 or 70 pesos). I did notice that in many places it was better to pay in pesos. I find you were loosing out if you paid in USD. As we were two couples, my only complaint would be that the beds in the two other bedrooms are no bigger than a double. It would be nice if one of the bedrooms had a queen size bed. We took our turn with one week each in the large bedroom. We will definitely be back next year.

It was a pleasure having you and glad you enjoyed your stay. Just as an aside on the beds. We looked for queen beds in Mexico and bought the very best quality that was available. They don't have a "queen Size" bed per se. They call them a "Matrimonial size" so your choices are either a twin size, a matrimonial size and a king size. The matrimonial is a little larger than a double but not as big as a full queen. And yes, you do make out better paying in Pesos. Look forward to seeing you next year!!!
