Description of the Playa del Carmen vacation condo rental

This professionally decorated two bedroom, two bathroom condo with open floor plan separate dining area, kitchen bar counter and everything necessary for the demanding vacationer. Centrally located, only a few minutes walk to world famous Fifth Avenue and the beautiful turquoise ocean waters and white sand beaches of Playa del Carmen. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed with premium bedding, linens, plenty of drawer and closet space, en-suite bathroom with Tikal counter top. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with premium bedding, linens, and full size bath just outside your bedroom door. The living area has a double pullout sleepsofa (sleeps two), two comfortable side chairs with Plasma TV, DVD and ample lighting for relaxed reading or entertaining. The dining area seats six and is adjacent the fully equipped kitchen which includes microwave, blender coffee maker, hot/cold water dispenser, etc. for those who wish to prepare meals. Ceiling fans and mini split air-conditioning units throughout. The private complex pool with water features is beautifully maintained and is a great way to cool off and relax in comfort.

Area Description

The beaches in Playa are exceptionally beautiful, even by Caribbean standards. The sand is fine, soft and white. The fact that it never gets hot is an unusual and pleasant feature. No more running into the ocean on your toes trying desperately not to burn the soles of your feet.
The area around Playa del Carmen is full of Mayan ruins, small and large. They are truly fascinating and anyone visiting the area should explore at least one of them. Some of the most famous archaeological sites, like Tulum and Coba are only a short drive from Playa del Carmen. A little further from Playa, about 3 hours, lies the magnificent ruin of Chichen Itza, which was the most important capital of the Mayan world around 900 AD.
Playa del Carmen is very popular for its beaches, laid back atmosphere and its phenomenal diving. From the miraculous inland cenotes to the tranquil and shimmering Caribbean Sea all the way to the isle of Cozumel, there's no other place with as much diversity underwater mixed with an internationally inspired topside vibe that's famous for fun and relaxation. I loved staying at the house. It was very specious and well decorated. It was right in town but not in the middle of it. The downside was that we wish we had a Ocean view and a few things needed to be fixed. Overall it was really great place to come back to at the end of daily activities.
