If you are looking for a luxury home to enjoy your vacation in, look no further. Casa Macaw is located just inside the entrance of Playacar Phase II. It neighbors the Aviary (a natural bird sanctuary) - a short five-minute walk into the festive town of Playa del Carmen that is loaded with restaurants and shops. The quiet beach is an
engaging 5 minute walk through ancient Mayan ruins.
Casa Macaw has 4 bedrooms,5 baths, and a private pool and has been totally remodeled from the floors on up. Top quality materials and furnishings make this the most spectacular villa in Villas del Mayab.
Professionally redesigned and decorated to provide 4 bedrooms, each with large en suite baths and an eclectic mix of Mexican and Spanish style. Stone floors, granite counter tops, walk in glass showers, expanded kitchen suited for any gourmet cook with custom cabinetry and large island outfitted with all modern amenities. Dishwasher and a large laundry room add to your comfort.
The home is fully air conditioned with remote controlled hand regulators.
The ground floor consists of the spacious living room with ultra suede sofas and loungers, flat screen TV and Satellite service, a formal dining room seating eight, the custom kitchen, a covered outdoor terrace and one master with a king bed and en suite bath that overlooks the new private pool. The half bath for guests is in the foyer.
Upstairs is a grand master suite with king bed, custom furniture, a sitting area and desk for your laptop - high speed internet is included, another TV, and a grand bath with corner Jacuzzi and double sinks in the custom vanity. The 14x14 foot terrace for sunning is shared with the round domed master bedroom with king bed and private bath. Finally the fourth bedroom has a set of twins that can be made up as a king. A small balcony for two overlooks
garden and pool.
All bedrooms are 16x16 feet or more.
The aviary behind the garden area provides a private back yard. The cages have been moved to a new location, eliminating the bird noises. A hotel sized common pool and tennis court are on the grounds for your use.
Many guests enjoy this shaded area during the hottest afternoon hours. At night the palapa is illuminated, offering a comfortable place to reflect on the day while listening to the sounds of tropical birds.
As an added bonus for our guests, we make available our discounted all-inclusive privileges at the Reef Club
Hotel. Using our Playacar VIP card, you have access to free beach towels and lounge chairs or you may opt for
the half-day/full day all-inclusive package with discount. This entitles you to all meals, snacks and beverages; all

Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure. We prefer your reservation be paid with check or money order.

Juan, who came by and greeted us, was very helpful and friendly and was able to quickly get a key so we could use the local tennis courts.
We didn't end up booking any tours - we actually rented a car and drove down to Tulum are on our own - but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I would definitely come down again and use you all in the future - thanks for the discount. I'll keep it in mind.
