Description of the Playa del Carmen vacation villa rental

Casa del Niño is a comfortable one-level colonial style home with ocean view, a private pool and a great access to the beach. It is located in the private Playacar Phase I residential community, just a short walk to the ferry to Cozumel and downtown Playa del Carmen and is only about 20 yards away from the ocean. A pathway leads you across the road where you will encounter the beautiful Caribbean Sea for which Playa del Carmen is well known. You will find the private pool next to the lovely, partly covered patio which is furnished and has a big BBQ grill. A staircase leads up to the roof top terrace, for an even more extensive ocean view.

The fully air-conditioned home can be rented as a 4 bedroom villa or a 3 bedroom villa. As a 3 Bedroom, Casa del Niño sleeps 6 people and has 3 Bathrooms. You are provided with linens, as well as beach and bath towels. Each of the four bedrooms has its own private bathroom with bath tub. It has all amenities you need - a well equipped kitchen and dining area with space for 8 people, an ample-sized living room with two sets of sofas, and for your indoor entertainment there is satellite TV, a DVD player and CD player.

Casa del Niño is truly a great vacation home with it's ample living space and bedrooms, great proximity to the beach, patio, private pool and BBQ! It is located next to several other homes that RivieramayaWEB promote which may be booked together making it ideal for small gathering and a great choice for large groups.

Area Description

Playa del Carmen is located in the Mexican Caribbean coast, just 40 miles (60 kms.) south of Cancun, Mexico. The town of Playa del Carmen hugs the coast along blue Caribbean water and fine white sand.

The city of Playa del Carmen is divided into several sections. Avenida Quinta, "Fifth Avenue", is a pedestrian only street running paralel to the beach north from the central plaza. Fifth Avenue is the heart of Playa del Carmen's cultural life, and is lined with restaurants, shops and hotels. The norther end of Fifth Avenue is called the "New Fifth". This is an upscale area with new construction, brick lined streets and a more European flavour.

Playacar is large private gated community connected to the southern edge of Playa del Carmen. The resort has an 18 hole golf course, upscale shopping, aviary, beach and stone paved avenues with tropical landscaping. Playacar Phase I is the residential beachfront section and is adjacent to Playa del Carmen town. Playacar Phase II is of the beach and around the golf course.

Playa del Carmen is the perfect base from which to explore the fascinating sites along the Cancun -Tulum Corridor of Quintana Roo (now called Mayan Riviera). Chichen Itza, Coba (1 hour and a half away by road and in the jungle), Tulum (45 minutes away by road) . Also, beautiful little Mexican towns such as Valladolid (2 hrs away by road), Izamal , Progresso , Merida all are within a day trip of Playa Del Carmen .
Beach combing, snorkelling, scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, golf, beaches, swimming, boating, kite boarding, deep sea fishing, tennis, groceries, reefs, sailing , shopping and dinning.

Spent one week at Villa Jacques with our 3 kids and my mother It is definitely for families with kids. Kids were always occupied with kid activities and we had a Nanny Service available that was really the best. I found all staff members well trained, courteous and friendly.

We were especially impressed with Villa Jacques. The sunset view from our patio was breathtaking. The beach home really exceeds our expectation. It was lovely to hear Mother Nature's sounds right outside the window each night.
