Description of the Playa del Secreto vacation villa rental

Villa Sol y Luna is a three story large and airy dwelling on the exquisite beach of Playa del Secreto. This gated community with only a handful of private homes boasts a wide expanse of immaculate white sand beach. No rocks or sea grass will impede your views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea.

In the ground floor , there are 4 large bedrooms , all air conditioned , private closet and full bathrooms. There is an indoor family game room with a pool table , 42 inches flat TV and a bar counter equipped with a frig and microwave oven. The guest laundry room has a washer , dryer and consumables . Facing the ocean-pool side there is large terrace equipped with a sofa set and a table tennis.

The pool area is a wonderful gathering place at mealtimes. Adjacent to the swimming pool there is a thatched roof kitchen-bar with refrigerator, a gas and coal barbeque, an electric cooler and a counter with stools for enjoying a relaxing family meal.....or you may head toward the beach for a restful sojourn in the hammocks at the beach palapa . For your convenience there is an exterior half bathroom .

In the upper floor there are three bedrooms , private closets and air conditioned, four bathrooms, living room, dining room for 20 guests and a full equipped kitchen with a semi-industrial stove . There is an ample terrace overlooking the sea supplied with hammocks and patio furniture . A semi-covered rooftop terrace located on the third floor ,equipped with lounge furniture that can be assemble into a large confortable bed , offers a breathtaking panoramic views of the aquamarine waters or the poignant intensity of our Caribbean sunsets. 15 guests sleeps on separate beds at Villa Sol y Luna

To accommodate larger groups, Villa Sol y Luna has a side apartment with three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a living-dining room with kitchenette . Sleeps 6 guests

A lighted swimming pool with a side Jacuzzi are flanked by an invitingly shady palm grove and a sand floor playground. Or if you are looking for a rest, the hammocks and lounge chairs are waiting for you!



Villa Sol y Luna has all the amenities you require to be absolutely comfortable. Broadband internet, VOIP telephone service, satellite TV, video games and DVD movies will fulfill your needs, whether it be a mix of work and pleasure or pure pleasure! The staff lives on-site and is always there to serve you, while respecting your privacy.

The services of our international chef may be arranged for an additional fee. We offer an excellent menu if you prefer a vacation with no cooking chores.

For those who may tire of the peaceful beauty of Playa del Secreto and want to mingle with people, Cancun is only 30 minutes away. Playa del Carmen is just 20 minutes south, and Puerto Morelos is five minutes from the villa. Each of these vibrant towns offers a variety of gourmet restaurants, cafes, shopping and nightlife.

WOW - would be the best word to describe our vacation! It was beyond our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. The villa, the pool, the beach - oh the beach! Amazing! It was a sheller's dream. We can't forget the staff - Luis, Cecilia & Pedro. They did a fantastic job of keeping the place looking great and making sure all of our needs were met. This was the ideal place to take our families. The kids (ages 9-15) had a blast! There were so many things to keep the kids busy, while letting the adults relax. Swimming, kayaks, boogie boards, sand castles, sea shells, volleyball, football, iguanas, naps in the hammocks - the list goes on! I truly think we've found paradise and we can't wait to return!
