Rent that jeep and head out on the Monkey trail! rough and rigous driving along the mountainside with spectacular views of the Pacific or head east into the Country to enjoy the Volcanos with their natural hot springs and mud baths. Lake Arenal is a beautiful site and a great drive in the winter time when tides are low and you can get across the rivers....streams in the winter. There is no road through the last quarter portion and nothing on the map to show you something is there but we drove the entire Lake! Enjoy.
