Description of the Plymouth vacation home rental
This 200 year old farmhouse has been well taken care of and offers New England charm and ambiance to the world traveler. The front porch is great to relax and watch the beach goers pass by in the summer months. Large back yard to enjoy a BBQ or play ball. Gazebo provides outdoor shaded seating. An old fashion kitchen with tiled counter and floor. Formal dining room and gas fireplace in the living room. There are two floors where the bedrooms are located across the hall from each other. All have their own bathrooms. The style is country with some foral wall paper and some painted walls. The stairs are somewhat steep because of the age of the house, but this is part of the character this home provides.
Area Description
Quiet street with nice sidewalks to get to the beach in one direction or to shopping center in the other. Two minute walk to superb panoramic view of the Bay. Close to Cape Cod, 20 minutes, with all it's adventure spots, historic city of Boston, 50 minutes, and of course Plymouth where the Mayflower sits in the harbor awaiting your tour. Plimoth Plantation is a great place to really have insight on how the Pilgrims survived.
There are 2 kayaks available for the sports enthusiast and a couple of bicycles.
Glass blowing museum, Pilgrim Hall Museum, Jenny Grist Mill, Are just a few of Plymouth's attractions. Whale Watching has been great for the last two years with garanteed showings by Captain John!
There is the Cape Cod Canal Dinner Train and plenty of fine restaurants to choose from and the seafood is exceptional.
This house is centrally located, so the guest can easily travel to Boston, RI, Cape Cod or stay here and never leave because we have a wonderful beach to play at everyday!
