Description of the Plymouth vacation home rental

Enjoy mountain views from the deck of this newer, chalet-style home on a sloping lakeside lot with private beach and dock all to yourself. Canoe, fish and swim in a crystal-clear lake. Or take a short ride to many White Mountain attractions.

Inside you'll find a mix of newer rustic and vintage furnishings throughout. The main floor has a full bath, two bedrooms, kitchen and great room with dining area and a wall of windows for endless mountain views. In the winter, cozy up to the Waterford parlor stove while you watch the snow fly. Upstairs in the sleeping loft waits a queen-sized bed and futon/sofa for quiet reading or taking in the view from the great room windows.

Sattelite TV and videos, puzzles and books wait for rainy days among a collection or rustic accents.

Plymouth rests perfectly in between the big lake activities of Winnepesaki and Squam Lakes 20 minutes to the south and the big mountain vistas of Loon Mountain and Franconia Notch 30 minutes to the north.

At the center of this college town, just 10 minutes away, you'll find shops, great local dining and a movie theater. The Polar Caves, a climbing attraction fine for kids is just as close. Grocery shopping and video rentals are nearby. On the way there, you'll drive over the state's newest covered bridge, the Smith Millenium Bridge with its own pedestrian walkway, perfect for picture taking.

The nearby highway can take you north to the village of Woodstock and over to Lincoln home to Loon Mountain and the entry to the Kangamagus Highway and great hiking, swimming and rock scrambling. The Lost River, Clarke's Trading Post and Franconia Notch attractions are a little further north. Taking the Highway south brings you to the "Golden Pond" of Squam Lakes. Follow country routes from the highway to the swimming and boating attractions in Weirs Beach and other lakeside towns.

My husband and me enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely place. The view was beautiful and everything was to our liking.
