Make a day of shopping many small, unique area stores, attend an auction, Ski TENNEY MOUNTAIN, known for great, affordable family oriented skiing and also for the summer ZIP line and obstacle course, or just sit back and relax and listen to the water flowing over the rocks and with breeze whistling thru the tall trees....Laze around or have a picnic for 2 aside the brook: very private!! Rock climbing in NH is simply the best! VERY close to Rattlesnake Mountain.

Beautiful, extensive horseback riding trails directly from the paddocks!!! Horse accomodations nearby....

Newfound Lake, Sculptured Rocks (great picnicing and swimming) , Spectacle Lake ( excellent for a canoe paddle), and Stinson Lake. The Pines Speedway ( for those dirt track car racing enthusiasts) , Clarks Trading Post, Antiqueing, Blue Moon Salvage: bits and pieces of old homes for your renovation projects!, really cool place, Auctions ( just down the hill: back woods, old style auction, with something for everyone!
