Description of the Pocono Lake vacation chalet rental

The house is extremely clean and well maintained with new paint and carpeting throughout. There is a fully equipted kitchen complete with microwave, Coffeemaker and a dining room that seats 8. There is wireless internet access throughout the house. It also has a screened porch , a full entertainment center with DVD player, AM/FM CD and cassete player, a fooseball table,
multiple games for the kids, 4 Cable TV's with VCR's & a DVD player, free local phone calling, an indoor fireplace, an outdoor firepit, new washer and dryer and an outdoor deck. PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance requirements, all guests must be 21 years old unless accompanied by a parent.

Area Information

Within the village, there are many activities for children, adults and the families sponsored by a full time recreation department. There are tennis courts, horseshoe pits, baseball/softball fields, and a clubhouse where there are social functions such as Bingo, Ice cream socials, themed diners, as well as cook outs and campfires. There is also a ski hill and a sledding hill in the village during the winter. All village activities require a guest badge which is available at the office for a nominal fee.

Outside the village, you are located 15 minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski areas and 20 minutes from Camelback Ski area in the winter and Camelbeach Water park in the summer.

Mt Airy Lodge is only about 20 minutes away where there is now gambling on site available. The poconos main shopping area, The Crossings Outlet Center is just minutes away. Pocono Raceway, the site of 2 NASCAR races is less than 10 minutes away. There are 5 quality golf courses within 5-10 miles. State hunting lands are also close by as are horseback riding stables. Local attractions include Bushkill Falls, whitewater rafting, canoeing and many local featues. There are also many great places to eat priced for any budget.

perfect Pocono rental

The pictures of this house don't do it justice. Once the 4 of us arrived, we were surprised how warm and inviting the house was. It had everything we needed for a relaxing fall weekend in the Poconos. The hot tub was great, as was the fireplace. The house easily sleeps 10 as described, but if you like privacy, I wouldn't recommend more than 3 couples staying there. Great vacation home though. We're already planning our next trip there!

Place and house was beautiful.We really had nice vacation, weather by labor day weekend was nice but it wasn't hot to use lakes for swimming , it didn't matter for us and our children because we had a great hot tub on screening porch,kitchen had everything that anyone could need to prepare food,house was spacesious, horseback riding is nearby (recommended it's fun), if you want to fish you need a community badge and PA fishing license but there is a couple lakes that anyone can choose(without badge only Pa fishing license) but we really loved place, people come and see, we're planing to rent this house again soon

I went with a group of 10 friends for a weekend and we had a blast! The house had plenty of room for all of us, there was a great selection of games, and I would recommend it to groups of young people and families.

Great home...

This was a great home, well maintained and well equipped. Everything was clean and ready for use when we got to the home. There was more then enough room for 10 people, I think there were 8 matresses available which made for a very comfortable stay. The village it is located in has a tubing and sledding hill as well as a lake about a block away. Would definitely recommend this home for a trip to the Poconos!

Great house for a ski trip weekend

We were a group of 10 guys on a ski trip weekend. This house is great. Clean, roomy, well equiped. The location is great for Jack Frost skiing. Plenty of good resturants in the area. The hot tub and fireplace were excellent! We had a great time.

We three families were very happy upon arrival and all of us were very comfortable.We are still missing the deer herds we had become accustomed to seeing.This time of year is kind of dreary in this area but we were comfy and cheery.The owner helped me out right from the beginning and made the whole first time experience an easy one. We had Thanksgiving Day dinner at the Inn at Pocono Manor which was very nice and quite festive.Other than cooking ourselves there was not much to choose from and most places were closed. We took a ride to Split Rock and found the indoor water park...nice!This is something to keep in mind for the"940"area.
