Located in the resort community of Arrowhead Lakes, in Pocono Lake,Pa. near Jack Frost-Big Boulder Ski Area, Gil's Shangri-Lodge is close to all the action of the Poconos. It's just a short 2 hour drive from the Philadelphia or New York city area to rent this cozy country cabin. The resort has great amenities including 2 lakes with 5 beaches, 3 heated pools, tennis courts, clubhouse, and more.

 Great place to stay, February 25, 2009

We stayed Wednesday thru Saturday. It was perfect for 5 with everything we needed! The fireplace didn't work unfortunately but that was the only complaint I have. The home was comfortable and my family and I enjoyed ourselves! We will go back and we recommend to anyone. The price was unbeatable!

This cabin is an amazing place to stay while visiting the Pocono area. The family who owns the home is great to rent from and give you a home that is a great home away from home. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home and could not have been happier with our renting experience. We would rent this home over and over again. Any family would have a great time in this home in the Poconos. If you rent this home you will not be disappointed.

We spent a week at this cottage in late August, and it was perfect! It's very small and cozy, and has all the necessary ammenities. I'd suggest bringing a laptop, we used ours to find directions to all of the nearby attractions. I only wish we had gone when it was a bit warmer, it was too cool out to spend much time at the lakes, which I had been looking forward to. All in all, a great little place for a small family or group of friends.
