Description of the Pocono Lake vacation home rental

5 bedroom and a loft, 3 bath, 2.5 story house in Locust Lake Village. Queen Bed in Master Bedroom (loft level). Queen Bed in Bedroom 2 (2nd level). Bunk Bed in Bedroom 3 (2nd level). Two twin Beds in Bedroom 4 and Two twin beds in bedroom 5 (Both on 1st level). 1 Twin Bed in loft. This house includes a family room on the 1st level and one on the 2nd level. There are 2 large picnic tables on the front deck with umbrellas for the summer time guest.

Area Information

Ten minutes from Big Boulder and Jack Frost mountains. Locust Lake Village contains three beautiful lakes for fishing, swimming, canoeing and play grounds, also plenty of space for picnics with charcoal grills on the grounds. Several nearby restaurants and bars to choose from. Ten minutes from Split Rock indoor water park. Twenty Five minutes from Camelback mountain and outdoor water park. Also 20 minutes away from one of the largest Outlet Malls in the country.

Beautiful Setting and Well Kept Home

My husband and I spent a week at this home with another couple last month. The home was spacious and nicely laid out and was clean and well kept when we arrived. Everything was in working order and instructions were clearly labeled all over the home. It rained the entire week we were there and all four of us still had a great time. I'd rate this home with 5 stars because our only complaints were very minor: 1. The owners did not warn us ahead of time about how to actually reach the home. It is within a gated community and if you plug the address of the home into a gps system, you will end up at key card access only gates on backroads. You have to have the actual gps coordinates of the Locust Lake Village office (as it does not have a street address per the office staff) in order to gain entry into the community. 2. The listing stated that the property had a working gas grill. There are actually two grills, but upon arrival we found them to be in extremely poor condition. They looked as though they had not been cleaned in years and, upon finding numerous spiders among the cooking elements, we elected not to use them. We did however, find a very small charcoal grill in working order. As I said, only minor complaints. Overall, a lovely home and a great vacation, rain and all.

My family and I loved this property. The owners Pete and Marina had everything mapped out notes jotted down to with directions on how to use everything in the house. They even left cell nimbers to call if we havd any problem ie could get the tv to work but they walked us through it. Spacious with all the comforts of home and I have to say I have been renting in the Poconos about 15 years now but have yet to rent a home that was as CLEAN as theirs. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here would recommend to anyone! Community peaceful and quiet near to everything we went to the waterpark as well as horseback riding, skiing and tubing closeby something for everyone would defintely stay here again.
