Great family trip

We had a great time! Great location! Close to everything! We walked everywhere. Lots to do for kids! Boardwalk, parks ,shops, beach, fishing & golfing. The house was great! Very clean & Ginny was very sweet & helpful! We would love to come again! It was a perfect family getaway!

Great for a family vacation!

The house was very cute. We had 6 adults, 2 kids and a baby and were very comfortable. The bathroom was pretty new and very clean, the kitchen had a retro look, but with new appliances, which made cooking breakfasts and dinners nice and easy. Really don't have anything to complain about. Great place!

A Great Summer Rental

July 8, 2008

We had a great time at the Helm house. We rented the property for 2 weeks and were sad to leave. It was clean and spacious for my family of 4. And the Helms are so nice and hospitable. All 3 bedrooms were a good size. Kitchen has a fridge, oven and microwave. There's seating for 4 in the kitchen. It's about 3 or 4 blocks to the beach, which was an easy walk even with my 2 small children. There is also a park nearby. The house is close to the train tracks, but we got used to the sound of the trains, and they did not run very frequently. On the plus side, you are removed from the bar scene, so there were no rowdy people on the lawn at 2 am like we had at our previous rental! The house is quaint and nicely decorated. There is plenty of parking between the attached garage, driveway, and spots on the street. Pets are allowed, but you'd never know it based on how clean everything was. We had one small problem and the Helms addressed it immediately. We hope to return next year!

6-08 We had an enjoyable stay at the Helm House. The house gave us many comforts duringthe week. 1) the quietness of the house provided much peace and relaxation for all. 2) The house was in an ideal location. So we enjoyed our favorite past times (shopping, eating and swimming). We took full advantage of it all. 3) Family togetherness, all the family was able to enjoy the house (my mother, father, husband, daughter and me.) The week gave us opportunity to share the house for seven days. Lastly the shore area (Pt. Pleasant) was just what I needed after teaching all year. Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Was the house damaged by Superstorm Sandy?

A:Some shingles blew off so we have a brand new roof. The AC unit was outside so the Insurance Co. said it needed to be rreplaced in case it got wet, so the AC and vents will all be new.

Q:What is there to do?

A:If you can only stay a week, you can keep busy all week within walking distance; Beach, Boardwalk, rides, miniature golf, aquarium, shopping, fine dinning, fire works, etc. If you can stay longer you might want to visit New York by nearby train or Phildelphia. Outlet stores and Six flags amusement park and safari are just 30 minutes away.
