Description of the Poipu Beach vacation cottage rental

Cozy Kauai Cottage is located on a private 5 acre family estate in the cool highlands above Poipu Beach. The cottage is centrally located on the island giving you quick access Poipu Beaches, shopping and dining in historic Koloa Town and the beautiful Mahaluepu Coastline. The lush North Shore is an hour to the east and north and remote beaches and spectacular vistas and hiking in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park to the west and north in the opposite direction.

The cottage is very comfortable, fully outfitted and has many fine features including granite counters, an oversized soaking tub and more. There is a gentle stream bordering the property. Fresh fruits from the land are provided in season with my compliments. Enjoy a peaceful vacation for a great value in the country yet just minutes away from gorgeous beaches.

The cottage is stocked with about everything you may need for the beach adding to the convenience and value. And lastly, as owner/manager and a life-long Kauai resident, I'd be happy to recommend places and activities on the island. You are welcome to write or phone me anytime for ideas and suggestions on how to get the most out of your stay.

Rates:
For 1 person: $75/nt or $500/wk
For 2 people: $100/nt or $700/wk

Hawaii taxes 12.42% added.
Cleaning is included in stays of 5 nights or more.
$40 cleaning is added for stays under 5 nights.

The cottage is light and cool as it was designed for the trade winds. Features include a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi, linens, bath and beach towels provided, boogie boards, beach chairs, Kauai guide and hiking books, cable TV, DVD, CD/iPod dock, washer and dryer, and lots more.

Oh my gosh, we had the best time. Loved the cozy Kauai cottage!!! Best find EVER. Thanks so much Chris, we really loved the place. It was perfect and we enjoyed waking up to all the birds singing in the jungle and the chickens cock a doodling!!! We felt like we were in our own little part of paradise!!! I loved that Chris had everything you needed to go to the beach. Didn't have to worry about beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards; it was all there. We will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back. Best vacation ever!! Thanks again

We have been to Kauai many times and our stay here is .... highly rated. You can not find a more private, secluded, and easy access place in all of South Kauai. We are returning for sure. Our host and his son were very accommodating. If you do not like crowds or condos, this is the place for two. Also snorkeling or town is only 5 minutes away. We loved our stay. I had such a good time here! This place is an undiscovered gem. The setting is absolutely spectacular, very private and serene. About the only sounds I heard were the birds and wind in the trees and an occasional papaya falling from a tree. Yet, I was 3 minutes from Koloa Town and less than 10 minutes from Poipu Beach. How nice it was to come home to this sweet little place in a cool tropical forest after a day at the beach. The cottage itself is newly renovated and very thoughtfully designed, quite beautiful and comfortable. Chris was available on the property for questions and advice about the island; he's very helpful and takes great care of the place. All this and a terrific value, too. I would absolutely stay here again.
