Area Description

Less than 1 mile, a few minutes drive will take you to a variety of swimming and snorkeling beaches. Brennecke's Beach is famous for body surfing and Poipu Beach, a series of three white crescents curving beside turquoise waters along the island's south coast, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, surfing and beach parties. Shipwreck Beach is great for experienced swimmers and surfers and offers hours of delightful sunbathing and beach combing for all ages from baby, novice to experience swimmer. Enjoy golf at the Kiahuna Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in the village. Some of the finest dining on the island is a short walk starting with Roys at the bottom of Kiahuna drive and the Plantation across Poipu Drive.

We had a very comfortable stay in this home, in a very quiet and beautiful part of the island. The house is spacious, the starting amenities provided were ample and generous (sugar/tea/coffee/soaps, etc)... Small touches added to the experience...It was a nice suprise to see 10 beach towels waiting to be used- and soaps/shampoos in each bathroom. Kay and Bill were very accomodating, bringing us a set of clean pillowcases, and providing recommendations for Fish markets/restaurants/and massage therapists.

We enjoyed the hammock and hot tub, the lounge chairs and beautiful hibiscus and plumeria trees. The girls in our house never left the house without a plumeria behind one ear... it really was lovely.
It was a wonderful place to call home for 8 nights!
