Description of the Pompano Beach vacation condo rental
2002 and upgraded in January 2010. The complex has a 24hr front desk to facilitate arrivals, lobby, fitness center,
spa salon, and restaurant. There are two elevators to each floor. There is a poolside restaurant and store. There
are two outdoor heated pools and an outdoor Jacuzzi. There is computer internet access for guests beside the lobby.
There is direct access to the ocean from the complex with several outdoor cabanas on the beach reserved for the
guests.
Short term rentals accepted only please! Monthly rentals not available for this unit.
The large or efficiency suite has a queen sized bed, sofa, chair, nightstand, closet space and safe. There is a kitchenette area with two tables, chairs, small countertop, two ring stove, sink, microwave and fridge. Cutlery and tableware for four are included. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower and tub. There is a washer and
clothes dryer. Plenty of towels and linens are provided for arrival. The private balcony has two chairs with a
south view; there is a view of the beach and ocean looking south-east.
The efficiency unit is connected to but separated from the guest suite by a doorway which can be closed. The guest suite
has two queen size beds, writing desk, safe, night stands, refrigerator, ensuite bathroom and private balcony with
similar views.
Further detailed information about local amenities are available for the guests. Biking, Golf, Tennis, Amusement
Parks, Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Museums, Swimming, Boating, Sailing, Windsurfing Details: Outside
shopping and dining destinations are close by. It is a relatively short taxi drive to Ft. Lauderdale and the
restaurants at Los Olas Blvd. The services of the spa, fitness Center, gym are available for those who wish to
avail of them, and a restaurant is present on site. The stay could also be combined with a cruise leaving from Ft
Lauderdale which is nearby. You may like to relax for a few days and then rent a car locally to visit areas of
interest along the south-east coast of Florida from Key West and Miami as far up as Palm Beach. For those who want
to go farther afield, Orlando is relatively close, about a four hour drive north of the complex.

Owner was easy to deal with and very plesant. Facility was directly on the beach with great beach side service. Heated pools and hot tub were a plus. Location is managed by Mariott and staffing/management is well above par. Room was exactly as described and pictured. Cannot say enough about this condo. Will definetly be staying again.

We had high expectations regarding the condo and the resort but it is safe to say they were all exceeded. Internet access is free and we did even get access to it on the beach. Breakfast was included which was a very pleasant surprise. Clean and plenty of space for 5 adults.

Went to South Florida for a Bat Mitzvah. I was looking for a spot that would give great access to our celebration but also wanted to be Beachside. I will say, I was pleasantly surprised that this condo is affilated with the Marriot Residence Hotel chain. I loved our view and only few feet away from the Atlantic Ocean. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. This room came with a free Cabana for the beach, wow what a treat. The owner was fantastic. As time passed from booking and making payment, well it passed quickly and I missed my payment in full dead line. The owner was fantastic and excepted my late payment. I will keep the contact information for future trips. We all had a blast this past weekend! I would recommend it to anyone!

Stayed here four nights in mid July. Apartment was spacious and clean with all the usual mod cons except for the kitchen cooker which was a bit limited being a two ring. Facilities were very good although I'm not a fan of valet parking.Staff were very courteous and helpful.

This condo was actually in the Marriott Residence inn. The 2br 2ba +2 balconies and living space was perfect! The people at the Marriott were fantastic and were so accomadating and friendly! We had a great time and would definitely rent again! Also the owner was wonderful, he could not have been better a perfect stressfree transaction!! Thank you very much, it was a great find!!!

We have stayed at this condo twice before, and hope to return again soon. This is a very comfortable, clean condo. It has three comfortable queen sized beds, two full baths, and an equipped kitchenette. It is located on the 7th floor and has a view of the ocean (side view) and the city. The hotel staff is friendly. The beach location is superb! The hotel supplies beach chairs and cabanas (but get there early!). The pool is small but clean, and there's a great hot tub.

This was our 3rd time renting this condo and we plan on renting it again soon. The condo is beautiful and very clean. The view is great, the beach is quiet and it's just a very nice place to relax. The owner was great and extremely accomodating. I have nothing bad to say about this place, I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about going to Florida!

The Condo and Location were great. Nice quiet beach. The condo was very spacious and nicely decorated. The washer and dryer were a major plus. Not a far drive from Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton. My family had a great time and would definitely stay again. The owner was very accomodating.

The condo was nicely decorated and clean. We liked the kitchenette. Beach was nice as was the pool area. The restaurant was good though slow service. We especially liked the location between Miami and Palm Beach. The weather was perfect for us.

Wonderful way to start

We came from cold Winnipeg, Manitoba down to Miami for a cruise. We spent the weekend before in Pompano Beach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Ocean Sands. The owner was very helpful and the condo was everything promised. It was such a treat to have my morning coffee out on the deck in December! Suited our needs

Location was fantastic - great views from BOTH rooms! Beds very comfortable; furnishings nice; building quiet; A/C a little loud; breakfast options disappointing; parking situation restrictive although valets attentive, and would be nice if room was serviced more frequently. Owner very accomodating, communicative and informative. We simply didn't get to enjoy the "resort" ammenities. But since we go to this area every year we would absolutely consider staying there again!

this place was great and Lisset is the most adorable owner. it was a pity that the previous renters didn't respect the smoke free and left us with this awful smell! one little point is that the Condo can have something nice dressing up the walls, averything was a little bit white. for the rest nothing but positive, absolutely a place to go.

This rental is even better than pictured. The rooms are spacious, with confortable beds, 2 balaconies and 2 full bathrooms. This worked out perfect for my family. The resort has 2 heated pools and is right on the beach. In addition there's a kids room which is perfect for the kids when the weather isn't cooperating. The owner was great to deal with.
