Description of the Pompano Beach vacation cottage rental

Cottages by the Ocean is a small, well-kept property of charming Key West-style studio and one-bedroom cottages on the North side of Fort Lauderdale in the safe, oceanside community of Pompano Beach. Nationally rated as a Superior Small Lodging, the property is a short block and a half walk to our award-winning Blue Wave beach with lifeguards, a fishing pier and lighthouse.

Each restored 1940s cottage has lush, tropical garden views. Studios include fully equipped kitchen, sleeping and living areas with king or queen bed and sleeper sofa, vaulted ceilings with beams, paddle fans and large screened-in porches with BBQ grill. One bedroom has queen bed w/ French doors to living room, sleeper sofa, extra large kitchen, wood floors, screened porch and BBQ grill.

The cottages are fully equipped with free wireless Internet, phones w/ voice mail, TV/VCR/DVD, CD/stereo, heat/air conditioning, paddle fans, cooking utensils and dishes, fresh linens and bedding, hair dryer, beach towels and gear, games, books and popular videos. A sundeck and coin laundry are located on the property.

Area Information

The Cottages are located on a quiet street in the safe, oceanside community of Pompano Beach, 15 minutes North of downtown Fort Lauderdale and 10 minutes South of Boca Raton. They are less than two blocks from one of South Florida's best public beaches (with life guards), and a short walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, nightspots, public fishing pier, snorkel/dive boats, charter fishing boats, jet ski and boat rentals, gym, day spas, drug store, gourmet fish market and more. It is a five minute drive to the new Pompano CitiCenter mall and 36-holes of golf. The new ISLE Casino next to Pompano Harness Track is a 15-min drive. I-95 is a 10-minute drive for easy access to attractions and shopping throughout S. Florida.
