Adorable Beach House Steps to Private Beach (#13030)

Write a review We could not have created a better place for our family getaway to Florida if we started from scratch. It has everything you need or could want from a Florida vacation getaway. We loved the neighborhood, the beach access, the pool.... And the owner was a geat guy to work with and I would do it all over again...and plan to.... We spent a spectacular 4 day weekend at this truly adorable house with 2 young daughters. The weather was so-so, but with the lush and secluded yard and beautiful pool we hardly noticed. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. Lovely neighborhood, very short walk to the beach, terrific Greek restaurant nearby. We can't wait to go back. We want to spend more time on the beach and I want to fish more from the rock jetty by the lighthouse. This here is quite a nobel house to make a good family vacation in Florida. Gary has answered all my questions by mail in advance and was very helpful. The house is really great and very nice to live in. The best is the real big and deep pool under mango trees and coconut palms. I thought it would be smaller. You have plenty of space in the garden and may rest in the shadows as well. It is only some steps to the beach, which is nice for snorkeling with many fishes. For swimming I often visit the normal beach in pompano - within 5 minutes with the car. You can also drive fast to the seagrass mills mall: The biggest outlet mall in the world. Boy, you can spend money here! Weather was fine except some rainy days. Everything you need can be found at the US-1 within 5 minutes to reach. And I LOVED the green friendly geckos, the iguana, the Anoli, the frogs and all other animals. There are moskitos, but most of them are eaten by the dragonflys. So have fun here and enjoy your stay. Good house. Owner was extremely helpful & collaborative in finalizing details. Everything is "as promised". Nice neighborhood. Back yard / pool area is very pleasant. Only downside we can think of is the kitchen furnishings, which are not quite up to par with the rest of the house (e.g. no good quality sharp knives, etc...). But overall: very good. Once again: owner will do whatever he can to make your stay enjoyable. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Leigh Rd. The home was very roomy and comfortable. The backyard pool and landscaping was great! The proximity to the private beach area was good, and we were able to enjoy the beach with lots of room to roam. This house is great for a family vacation, and it's an easy drive up and down the intercoastal waterway destinations. Highly recommended! Our family really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. The pictures on this site don't even come close in describing how beautiful it really is. The pool and all of the amenities rival most resorts. We will definitely be renting again next year. Thanks!! I would rent again. I would rent another, from this owner. This is the best I can say about this house. It is very well maintained, and supplied better than most rentals. Everything from spices to baggies and foil, to bikes and beach toys. We only needed to supply food and airfare; the owner really looks after you. The house is roomy, the neighborhood is quiet, the nearby beach is clean and fun and wonderful, and I can only say nice things-I would rent this house again! Thank you for a wonderful time. My family really enjoyed the time we spent at Leigh Rd. The home was beautiful, the pool and yard, very tropical and enjoyable.The location is exquisite, The beach is VERY nice!! We felt like we were right at home, on vacation. This trip was by far our best.

This wonderful house took a vacation trip and made it even better. We got to "live" in Florida for 10 days rather than just visit. The beautiful yard & pool, the location by the Ocean could not have been more perfect if it was special ordered. May this be the begining of many future vacations at Leigh Rd. for our family.
