The house is on a chanal at Mc Nab neighbourhood. Peaceful, safety area with a lot of palm tree. Stores and services are nearby. Fort Lauderdale airport is 10 miles far. 2 blocks from US1 and Atlantic Boulvard intersection, 10 minutes by car to the beach. You can also use bicycle.

Vacation stay in Pompano Beach

Our daughter and family come to Florida, from Switzerland, in April to visit her in-laws. We have been coming down from Canada for 4 years and renting separate hotel accommodations to see them. We thought we would try a house rental and see if it worked. It was perfect. We saved $ and we were under one roof with a fully equipped kitchen. It is close to shopping and a five minute drive to the beach. To be honest we went to the beach twice; we all preferred the pool with the ready access to the house and shade plus a BBQ. The grand kids did not want to get out of the pool. This house was perfect. It is in a great neighborhood. The property is well maintained and the the neighbors were great and welcoming. Didn't make us feel like transients invading their space. The pictures do not do this house justice. I have no problem leaving a 5 star recommendation. The transaction was seamless and my security deposit is in process. As soon as the cleaning staff gave a no damage report, I was contacted to set up the deposit return. If I had firm dates for next year, I'd be booking it now to make sure we can get back into this house.

When I set up my prices my goal was exactly that you wrote: it must be cheaper than stay in a hotel. And the feeling is different, deffinitly. That's that I would expect during my vacation.
