Luxurious oceanfront condo available for rent. This beautiful vacation home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with spectacular views. This condo includes a newly renovated, spacious living area and large kitchen. A large master suite complete with king size bed, two closets, a private door to the balcony overlooking the ocean, and a master bath. The second bedroom can sleep up to four. A sliding door connects the bedroom to the second bathroom. Additional amenities include cable television, air-conditioning, private balcony overlooking the beautiful Atlantic ocean, full kitchen, wireless high speed Internet, private beach area & washer and dryer available on the floor.

Area Information

The Town of Ponce Inlet is located on the southern tip of a beach peninsula with the Atlantic on the east and the Halifax river on the west coast, south of Daytona Beach and Daytona Beach Shores. Several marinas are located in Ponce Inlet, which is considered one of the area's prime fishing spots. Critter Fleet and other fishing charters are less than one mile away. The marine sanctuary is also less than a mile. The marine center is home to the turtle ICU and admission is available. The area is prized by residents for its relaxed lifestyle and natural, uncrowded beaches. Ponce Inlet is close to Saint Augustine, Cape Canaveral national Sea shore and Orlando with Disney World and all the theme parks less than an hour away.

The Lighthouse
After decades of restoration by the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association, it stands today as one of the best preserved, most complete Light Stations in the nation.

Visited by over 100 thousand people each year, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998. The lighthouse tower and museum are located 12 miles south of Daytona Beach and are open to the public year round. The lighthouse is close to Orlando attractions, historic St. Augustine and the Kennedy Space Center. The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Florida and the second tallest lighthouse in the nation. Visitors who climb the 175-foot-tall lighthouse tower are treated to a magnificent view of the Florida coastline and Halifax River from Daytona Beach to New Smyrna Beach.

The lighthouse keepers' dwellings and other historic light station buildings are now home to the lighthouse museum, with exhibits on lighthouse life, lighthouse and Fresnel lens restoration, the keepers and their families, Daytona Beach and Florida history, and shipwrecks. The Ayres Davies Lens Exhibit Building houses one of the finest collections of restored Fresnel lenses in the world, including the rotating first order Fresnel lens from the Cape Canaveral lighthouse and the restored original Ponce Inlet lighthouse first order Fresnel lens.

Another great vacation in Ponce Inlet!

Ponce Inlet is a hidden gem! This is our second vacation in this condo - and we love it! It is an older building but it is very well kept. Barbara takes very good care of this condo and it shows. It is large and spacious - we always have more room than is needed. Sit on the direct ocean front balcony and watch the dolphins play each morning! This is a no drive beach and is never crowded. We love this condo and plan to keep coming back!

Great Family Vacation in Ponce Inlet, Fl

We truly had a wonderful time in the beautiful oceanfront condo at East Wind. It was spacious and well equiped and decorated lovely. Having the beach and the pool only steps away made for a great time for my husband and I and our 3 year old son. Although the first 4 days were rainy and cloudy due to tropical storm Debby, we stayed busy visiting the light house and trying the local restaurants. And even a stormy view of the ocean is amazing! We definately hope to return! And the staff was fabulous! Very helpful and friendly!

This condo was wonderful; very large and roomy with a wonderful view. It is convenient to anything you could want. The pool and beach were both great and not crowded at all. People who lived there were friendly and nice. We had a great time and would definitely go back to the same place again.

Ponce Inlet is the place to stay in Daytona

We stayed at Ponce Inlet Club South. It's one of the older condos in Ponce Inlet but I think is one of the best! It's well maintained and very clean. Nothing beats being on the ocean side. The view is beautiful! I wouldn't stay in any place else in Daytona but Ponce Inlet. It's very quite but you're not far from the activity. There are plenty of restaurants close by. One of our favorites was right across the steet Jack's Tiki Bar. Food and drinks were great! We plan to return in 2012.
