Description of the Port Charlotte vacation condo rental

This first floor spacious unit is in a gated golf community. The community includes an activity center where there is a large pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, bocce ball, basketball, horseshoes and croquet. The unit is fully furnished and equipped including washer and dryer. Included with this rental is a beach pass to a private beach club on the Gulf of Mexico. Nothing more is needed for a relaxing vacation.

Area Description

Port Charlotte is located between the Peace River and the Myakka River on Charlotte Harbor. It is approximately 45 miles north of Ft. Myers and 30 miles south of Sarasota. Located within 15 miles are the beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
Tampa and Busch Gardens are about 1 1/2 hours north and Orlando and Disney World are less than 3 hours east.
There is much to do from fishing to golf - shelling to surfing. Wildlife viewing or just enjoying the beautiful sunsets over the water - there is something for everyone.

We enjoyed the many activities the community provided in its' friendly atmosphere. The unit was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We loved our evening cocktail on the lanai watching the sunset over the Myakka River.
