Description of the Port Charlotte vacation home rental

This was a Ryland Homes Builders model with top of the line everthing. Awesome lanai/pool with room to really swim. Spa-hot tub next to pool. Three bedrooms, an office with a day bed, and a sitting room with a pullout couch make plenty of sleeping room. Home is in a gated golf development. Home is fully furnished with 3 TVs, DVD player, and a complete sound system throughout. About 2400 sq ft under air.

Area Description

North Port is about 7 miles north of Port Charlotte, 20 miles south of Venice. Lots of golf, swimming, fine dining, and shopping in the area. Tampa airport is 100 miles north, and Fort Myers is 45 miles south. This is in the tropical zone which starts about 40 miles south of Tampa. Temps are almost always warm and sunny, and if not, it only lasts a day.

Lodging Tax: 10%
Deposits: $1500 for a one month rental, 2k for a two month rental, and $2500 for anything more than that.
Other Fees: You are responsible for utilities which average 350 a month if you are heating the pool and using the spa. Basic cable tv is included, but if you want to have high speed internet, you can get it through Comc'st for about 40 dollars a month.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is even prettier than the pictures. Loved the amenities of the pool, hot tub and driving range. The golf course and community are beautiful.
