Bring your boat and jet skis or rent them at the many marinas. We are a 7 minute boat ride down the canal to the open water. The home has a fishing deck, mooring dock, mooring posts and an electric boat lift. Catch shnook, catfish, snapper and blue crab off the dock. The home is 20 minutes to the gulf beaches and a bike ride to Port Charlotte Beach. Fishermans Village in Punta Gorda is 4 miles away or a 15 minute boat ride, where you can enjoy dining, entertainment, sightseeing and fabulous shopping.

This was our second time renting the house and again we enjoyed everyday of it and didn't want to leave. Its always a pleasure talking to the neighbour Larry, he is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. Hope to return again in the near future.

From the time we found the property on line until we locked the door behind us, the entire process went smoothly. The property was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for easy access to many points of interest. The owner was very easy to work with and very helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

This home was everything we could have wanted for our one week vacation. The owners were very helpful and had everything planned out for rentals. I would highly recommend this property!

Pictures on web site are very flattering to this house .Pool and patio were nice but not exceptional. Pool heater was not working or was set very low . Water temperature MIGHT have been 75, definitely very cold. Odor in garage and house. It took about 3 days of cooking, burning candles and opening doors to freshen it up. We could smell it in the garage the entire time. Bedding was dated and worn. Owner should have someone freshen the house before renters arrive . It was just ok. We wouldn't rent again. Neighbors are nice.

The vacation home had everything there to make sure I felt like it was my own personal home. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood. Close to the beaches and shopping. The owner was extremely accommodating when I called with a question. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit to this beautiful home.

Great home is a quiet safe area. Well equipped and maintained ... everything works. The pool and lanai is where we spent most of our time with the sun and shade just wonderful. Punta Gorda is a great jumping off point for exploration of the central southern gulf coast. The owner, Louis, is exceptional to deal with ... providing loads of information and prompt responses to inquiries. There are no nasty surprises with thi vacation home. Highly recommended.

This place made our Florida vacation very enjoyable. The place was very clean and well kept. We LOVED the pool and hot tub!!!!!!! When we were at the house, we spent most of our time around the pool. We loved being able to get up and have our coffee at the table by the pool looking out at the canal water view. We would rent this place again without any hesitation!!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was average and had what we expected. One of the skylights was leaking and there was evidence that it had been leaking prior to our stay. (It rained most of the week we were there so we had no reason to use the skylights). I made a mistake not to call and report the problem --since it looked like it had already been leaking. Anyway we lost the deposit which has never happened to us in many, many vacation rentals. Anyone who rents in the future should document any and all potential problems upon arrival to hopefully not loose their deposit.

Although I live very close to the home it was a pleasure to be able to swim in a really great big pool and use the hot tub whenever we wanted to. Once we figured out where all of the light switches and knobs and buttons were we had a great relaxing time .We had had a very stressful year and this is just what we needed.

We had a great vacation! The pool had a perfect water temperature, quiet neighboorhood, yet close enough to the stores and beaches. The kitchen drawer with maps and tourist information was helpful! Standard of accomodation was good,similar to what we have used beforein Florida but we had trouble opening the front door at 10:30pm - could do with a porch light that can be put on outside. Excellent pool - once it had warmed up but make sure to use the pool cover on cooler evenings Husband loved the fishing from the dock.Tip from neighbour - use live bait for better sucess and it worked. Best thing is the neighbours who were great.Only issues - no spare sheets for a 3 week stay so had to wash the ones we used frequently. Plus there are no trays,dishes or racks for use in the oven. I bought the milk jug!

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house was very comfortable, pool & hot tub were wonderful. Quiet neighborhood made for a very relaxing stay, just what we wanted - peaceful & relaxing. Thinking of booking again.

Very nice property and had a great time, the kitchen could be better equipped with bake ware and oven proof casserole dishes. Would definately like to return to this property.

This vacation for us was by far the best time we have ever had with our friends and family. Our son David just got back from a tour of duty in Afganistan and trailered his boat over (10 1/2 hour trip). This house made it all happen, we had a wonderful time and the neighbors are just the best. We are all Patriots fans and rented a 65" TV for only $66.50 for two weeks from Rent-A-Center. Some of us watched the game from the pool. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of dishes to entertain. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is absolutely fantastic. The rating only goes to five, we would give this property a ten. If you are planning a vaca in FL, do not hesitate to rent this property, you've got to see it to believe it. Thank you Terry & Kevin for a wonderful time, hopefully if all goes well next year we will be renting your beautiful home again for the Christmas holidays.
