Central heat and air, ceiling fans throughout, attached carport, washer/dryer, Tile and carpet, sweetly decorated in a nautical/Florida cottage theme. Everything is included so there's nothing to do but unpack and enjoy your vacation. TV with lots of satellite channels (HBO, MAX, Starz and movie channel) also included. Backyard has a canal and although not suitable for boats or swimming, hosts great wildlife entertainment. Many native birds come to feed and sun. No gators as yet but plenty of turtles. Your small well-behaved pet is welcome with prior approval.

Got fish? Located minutes from Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Coast, this area boasts some of the best fishing in the State of Florida as seen on many popular TV fishing shows.

The August thru October offshore fishing action includes:
Red Fish, Spanish and King Mackerel, Permit, Shark (Hammerhead, Lemon, Blacktip, Nurse, Reef), Mangrove Snapper, Dolphin, Gag and Red Grouper are further out (25-50 miles).

About the property and management:

Please be assured I am the sole owner of my properties which I purchased over 5 years ago. None of my homes are in any state of foreclosure or are they on some secret market for sale. I selected Charlotte County based on research and government PUBLISHED FACTS that the air quality exceeds national standards (a pleasure to breath), low crime rates, and a low-density population that is 97% Caucasian based. I have found the local residents to be courteous and friendly and the traffic more than tolerable. I can't imagine anything worse than showing up for your dream vacation and finding the home occupied by a new owner or worse yet, boarded up. Why not ask about the status of any home you are interested in renting?

I am personally available for any problems which might arise as are my staff of qualified technicians. Having recently retired with over 30 years in law enforcement, I feel my integrity and commitment are of the highest around.

A beautiful public beach complete with large and lovely well-maintained public pool is just 5 minutes away as well as a full-service library with multiple computer stations.

You will find 28 local marinas, 13 boat ramps some with recreational areas offering kayak or canoe rentals, picnic and playgrounds. There are 16 fishing piers for the non-boaters and plenty of charter boats to get you to your destination.

• Deposits: A $300 reservation deposit is due at time the reservation is made. It will be applied to the total balance. There is no refund of this deposit should you change your mind. Do not confuse this with the refundable security deposit. 1/2 balance due 7 dates after receipt of lease, remaining balance due 60 days prior to arrival date. Late payments can terminate lease resulting in partial refund. Payment must clear prior to residency. Contract is not complete until initial payment is received.
   
• Other Fees: Refundable security deposit of $200 for up to two week stay, and $300 for monthly stay or more is required and calculated with the rental fees. Refund of 1/2 fees collected will be made if requested 4 to 6 months (depending on rental month) prior to arrival date. Prices are based on two occupants, additional charges for extra guests may apply. Cleaning fee 80 USD $50 - 100 non-refundable pet rent Responsible use of utilities is included. Excessive use may result in additional fees.

Rented the property on Easy Street from Jonie. Very simple, but clean and close to everything. We were visiting friends in the area and just used the house to sleep. Much more comfortable and reasonable than a hotel.

Great monthly rental. Good location. It is reasonably close to beaches and if someone is a fisherman would have lots of choices to go fishing. House has 2 bedrooms with a third room that could be used for another one if needed. Neighborhood is mixed retirees and blue collar workers and feels safe enough to walk and ride bikes even after dark. Services very close and lots of stores within 10 miles
