Area Description

The Gardens of Gulf Cove provides a community club house complete with a heated pool, tennis courts, horseshoes, koffee klatch, shuffle club, bingo, painting, mens poker, 60+ billiards, bridge, garden and bike club, that a couple or a family can enjoy. The home is located only 5 minutes from boat ramps and 15 minutes from the beach. The area is ideal for golfers, boaters, and water recreation. For shopping conveniences, the Publix grocery store is a walking distance right accross the club house. Enjoy, whether it is playing golf on one of the nearby courses or swimming in the white prestine beaches.

For the nature lovers, experience Gasparilla Island, separated from the mainland by Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound, or visit the Myakka River Nature Area in Sarasota where you can take a boat ride seeing alligators and other local creatures. Plenty of golf courses, including Pinemoors Golf Club and Long Marsh Golf Club. The closest course is Duffy's Golf Center, exactly 1.86 miles from the house. Fisherman's Wharf is only minutes away in nearby Punta Gorda. Shop or dine in a variety of restaurants here in Port Charlotte and surrounding areas or relax in nearby North Port's warm, natural healing, mineral springs.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order
Check In: 2 p.m.
Check Out: 10 a.m.
Deposits: A reservation deposit of one half of the monthly rent is required to reserve or hold the property for the renter. This reservation deposit will be applied to the first month rent. If renter cancels his or her reservation, the reservation deposit will be forfeited. At check-in, a security deposit of $300.00 is required and will be refunded 15 days after check-out subject to any deductions for damages or lost properties of the vacation home.

The house is big, nice and clean. It is situated only 15 minutes drive from Port Charlotte Town Center, Englewood Beach (Manasota Key) or Placida (entering Gasparilla Island). A Publix is just 1 mile away. Personally I prefered the deck in the backyard with the quietness under the patio umbrella and the activities nearby like swimming, watching the sunset or taking kayak tours at Grande Tours, Placida. If you like quiet, broad beaches then go to the beaches of Gasparilla Island especially near the new light house tower. Wonderful. If you want to stay without having contact to neighbours, they will just leave you alone. I can only recommend this place. Not to forget the friendly landlords.
