Beautiful water front home with boat dock offers scenic water views from almost every room in the house. This 2500 sqft fully furnished single story single family home is located in Charlotte County Florida. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a great room, a glassed in lanai and a 2 car garage. There is a heated in-ground 6 person Hot Tub accessible just off the master bedroom as well as the lanai.
With one small step down the great room leads onto the lanai providing breath taking water front views and spectacular sunsets. Entrance to the full service eat-in kitchen is available through the great room or through the lanai where you will find the breakfast bar. The Master BR has a King size bed, with a walk-in closet, and a private three quarter bath. The front guest BR has a full size bed and a large closet. The back guest BR has King size bed with a large closet and sliding glass door to the lanai. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the neccessities along with a full size washer and dryer.

Area Description

Shopping & fine and casual dining are just minutes away. Port Charlotte is nestled between the Tampa Sarasota area and Sanibel and Captiva Islands and the Naples area, and only 2.5 hr to Disney World. Near by you'll also find all your favorite shops, Super Wal-Mart, Target, Macy's, JC Penneys, Sears, Bealls Outlets, a large mall and much more. Charlotte Harbor is only 2.4 miles, Punta Gorta, Fishermans Village just over the bridge. Close proximity to many of the areas best Gulf Beaches - Siesta Key, Long Boat Island, Gasparilla Island, Venice, Englewood,and Fort Meyers (all nationally ranked). You can catch a ferry from Ft. Meyers to Key West, (see link below)
Over 40 Golf courses in the surrounding area with Riverwood (a 4 star course) being a short drive. The County Fair Grounds are less than 15 minutes away which routinely book events for the area such as Charlotte's Minor League Baseball Team, Rodeos, open air concerts, food festivals and Carnivals. Fishing abounds in the area from pier or lake fishing to deep-sea charters out of Punta Gorda, Boca Grande and Placida - all available within 5 to 20 minutes driving. Local State Preserves offer animal exhibits and hiking trails.

Port Charlotte is a wonderful place for a family vacation, full of activities for childs from 2 to 92. You'll find all your favorite restaurants, Outback Steakhouse, Chilies, Red Lobster etc., along with some very unique local fare and they are all just minutes from the house.
The Shell Factory in Ft. Meyers is 30 minutes away where there is a wildlife preserve with alligators, lizards and more.

The home we rented for our winter vacation was indeed very comfortable and very quiet which allowed us to relax during the day and sleep very well at night. The owner of the home although living in another State was very accomodating and pleasant to do business with . I must say that this is the second time we have used Vacation Home rentals and will continue to do so in the future . Could have used another month ! Dave

This house was large, quite and right on the water. We caught fish off the dock. Good place if you have a boat. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
