Charming well kept 1100 sq ft home. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with extra seating entertainment room. Carport, parking space for camper/boat, fans throughout, terrazzo flooring.

This home has been newly renovated, has an amazing kitchen with granite counter tops and built in microwave. This is not a bare bones rental kitchen. Pots, pans, dinnerware and plenty appliances. This kitchen will meet most of your culinary needs.

We have tried to include everything you will need for your stay, including towels and extra bed linens. Yes, all the comforts of home including fans, washer/dryer and central a/c heating. There are also beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler.

The home is furnished to a high standard of living, 2 TV's 32" & 46" HD 2 dvd's w/full satellite.

There is no land-phone. It you need this service, you can arrange it with CenturyLink.

There is also a delightful small screened patio for you to enjoy the back yard which is completely fenced / privy and recently professionally landscaped with a 4 tier fountain.

Everything you would need is included, so just bring all your belongings, unpack, relax, lay back and enjoy your vacation. For raining days there are some home games for your relaxation.

We provide a 'Starter Pack' that includes a 6-pack of toilet and facial tissues, kitchen paper products, dish soap and washing machine detergent. Garbage bags and cleaning supplies.

Your very well behaved dog (under 24 lbs) is welcomed. You must obtain prior approval.

**The alternative is staying in a local hotel, paying much more for one room, with questionable cleanness.
Area Information
About the property and management:

As the owner of this property, I pride myself in keeping this home in near perfect condition. The house is on a corner lot, completely fanced back yard with lots of privacy to relax in.

From the site pictures, you can see that the yard has been professionally landscaped and well kept.

The interior is lovely, high-end furnishing with quality mattresses, bedding with plenty of pillows. Please be assured, this is NOT a "budget type" accommodation home.

I expect the renter's to enjoy this home as if it was their own. I will also be available to answer any request you might have.

*For those who enjoy to golf`, the "County Golf Club" is just 1 mile from the house.

Within 2-3 miles one could attend the Elks, Moose, American Legion, VFW and Eagles.

Our community has two major hospitals just within 2 miles from the home. Port Charlotte is the mecca of medical care. Also within 2 miles is our senior's Cultural Center. A place that has everything for seniors, dancing, games, eating facility plus treasures to purchase. The library and the Performing Art Center "live theater" is on the same property.

Port Charlotte also offers;

Escape to paradise. Port Charlotte beach complex is 4 miles away. Picnic areas, fishing, tennis courts, basketball, vollyball and bocce courts as well as horse shoes. Heated swimming pool and kayak rentals activities are available year-round.

Boaters, our waterways include many activities with local marinas and ramps for your favorite water sports. Our subtropical paradise is alive with an array of marine life, Dolphins, manatees, sea turtles and hundreds of species of fishes. County brochures will also direct you to other fun activities such as site tours, cruses, deep sea fishing and special seasonal events.

Port Charlotte has something for everyone... it provids not only one of the best fishing waters in the country, also the best golf clubs, nature trails, hunting, camping and "bingo" for those who just want to sit-in.

The home is located about 3 miles to highway 75, shopping mall, restaurants and close to down town Punta Gorda where a great attraction is "Fisherman's Village".

Sports fans... You will enjoy our newly refurbished Sport Stadium where baseball fans can attend our local Charlotte Stone Crab's games and the "Tampa Bay Rays" during spring training season. You might even talk to some of the players.

Oasis in Port Charlotte

Even though it's an older home, the house was clean and the kitchen was nicely done in new cabinets and granite. The surrounding residential area is safe and very quiet, especially the back yard, which is completely fenced. The owner met us at the home when we checked-in. He was very very thorough going over what's in the house. Everything came with the house, including a new bag of charcoal for the grill! We highly recommend it.

Loved It!

The home is exactly as described, and the owner is a sweetheart! We had a great time exploring the area, plenty to do and see! Perfect place to stay if you want to take your pet on vacation! We enjoyed the beach, the beautiful Peace River, Punta Gorda just over the bridge, the comedy club right up the road, all the shopping you could ever want and restaurants too numerous to mention. The owner left a book with brochures for many area attractions and eateries, and I think we tried them all! If you need a nice Florida getaway, this is the perfect place to stay, clean, comfortable and convenient. I highly recommend this home.

Our Winter Vacation out of the Snow

We spent six weeks at this lovely updated and bright clean home. It was very conveniently located to everything one would need or want. We took our dog with us who totally enjoyed the fenced in back yard. It was so private and relaxing for us all. As mentioned there is a living room, kitchen, dinette, 2 bedrooms, a sunroom and a screened lanai. We spent a great deal of our time in the cosy sunroom with the TV and many windows. This home has high end furniture and not something one would be ashamed to entertain in. In the previous review the shower head was mentioned as needing repair. The owner has since replaced it. He has also done some more improvements since we left. The sad part about this is that we would like to come back again in 2012 but it is rented for the time frame we wanted. This home is everything it mentions in the ad and more. You won't be disappointed.

Oasis on Conway

This home was an oasis on Conway. We enjoyed our stay. Home was clean, easy to get to, and close to everything. Library, Walmart, beaches, Olympia's resturant, and everything else was close by. We would stay again. It would be nice to have computer access and a new shower head.
