Description of the Port Charlotte vacation home rental

Exceptional lakefront views from family room, kitchen and master bedroom and from oversized screened lanai and unscreened patio slab for your sunning and outside cooking.
This home features ceramic tile throughout except for bedroom areas. Granite countertops and wood cabinets are the basis of this large modern open view kitchen with bar seating for six and tableseating for four in window bay. Lanai table seats six. Master and one guest bedrooms have queen beds and one guest bedroom has computer desk, dresser and queen futon. Open family room has cable TV. Dock for fishing and your boat with boatramp quarter mile away.

Area Information

Quick (5 minute) canal access under one bridge to Charlotte Harbor with water access to Peace River, the Myakka River and the Gulf. (Weekly fishing/waterfront insert to local newspapers keep you up to date with the historically famous area fishing and waterfront activities.) Spring Lake Park with boat ramp less than one quarter mile to the west and new environmental park with tennis courts and canoe/kayak launch ramp less than one quarter mile to the east. Less than one mile to restaurants, two miles to hospitals and five miles to mall. Beach complex with pool, beach, boat ramp and picnic shelters nearby. Downtown Punta Gorda is 4 miles away and I-75 is 6 miles away. Several nearby restaurants have Harbor views.

American Legion, Elks, Moose, VFW and Eagles all nearby.

Amazing Location, Responsible owner

We spent 2 months here and have loved every minute of it. The lake just out the back yard is great and there is lots of wildlife coming in and out from the canal. We especially enjoyed watching the dolphins as there were a couple of them that pretty much made a daily showing as long as you were watching for them. Bring your binoculars for sure. There is an otter that swims by periodically as well. Lots of different birds coming in and out and a resident pelican that seems to enjoy the one post for your boat tie up. The area has several nearby parks that we could ride our bikes to and paths to run on. Lots of restaurants close by as well which is great so tons of variety depending on the mood. There is lots of shopping and movie theatres in a near by mall. Punta Gorda is just a short drive away and has several weekend craft shows if you enjoy that type of thing. Englewood Beach is just a short drive away and is absolutely beautiful. Port Charlotte Harbor is a nice spot to visit and in season has a nice pool to use. Our overall experience here was amazing and we would definitely return to this home and area in the future.

Excellent , clean house and the owner is responsive, helpful and cares about his guests including their pets. The view of the lake is expansive and there is an abundance of wildlife to be seen throughout the day. Perfect boating location for access to the harbour or Gulf for medium sized boats for fishing or sight seeing. Ten minutes to golfing and central to all shopping needs. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and our visit to the area!

This house was perfect. Great location, close to most everything. Has a great view of the water, perfect place to have a boat. Very nice dock for your boat, can be in Charlotte harbor in just a few minutes. Owner was great, everything in the home worked great. Very nice stay!!
