Description of the Port Lavaca vacation home rental

Dont miss the photo opportunities of the breathtaking views of a sunrise over Charanchua bay. This home has a unique view of the bay with no other homes blocking the view. NO WORRIES while your boat is protected from waves safely at the canal dock in front of your house. Fish from the dock for Redfish or Trout swirling around the underwater lights at night right in front of the house. Let the kids fish while the adults enjoy the evening breezes in eyeshot of them, from the upper or lower patio deck. Nap in the shaded oversized hammock.

This is a 1700sq. 3 bedroom 2 bath home with large open living kitchen and dining floor plan. Whether you are sitting at the breakfast bar or the dining table, cooking eggs or watching Tv on the flat screen you have a view of the Charanchua Bay through the 16 foot window. A Waterveiw and or sunrise or sunset from everyroom. The oversized deck wraps around the living area. There is another 1700 sq.ft. of shaded area under the elevated house where the hammock and barbacue pits are located.

Area Information

Quiet surroundings, boat ramp access. Charancua and Keller Bays are close by. Boat out to "The Point" for a deserted sand beach experience of fishing or hunting seashells. Spend the day skiing or swimming in the bay.
Dolphins frequent the bay and the canals in front of the house.

15 minutes from town for shopping, dining, Port Lavaca beach area and a Super Walmart.

Relaxing & Fishing

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Russ & Tracy was beyond helpful & easy to work with. The home had everything you could possible need. Above all it was exceptional clean. We had 7 adults & 4 children and had plenty of room. The 4 grandchildren had a ball catching all types of fish. And plenty of fish was caught. We are looking forward to coming back here and staying longer. I highly recommend it to anyone. Very relaxing & quiet place.

Our stay was terrific! The house is big and everything was better than expected. Great views, direct access to the bay and a lighted dock loaded with fish. Russ and Tracy were very helpful and made us feel welcome. We loved the house and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fishing getaway or just a relaxing weekend!
