Spring Training for the Blue Jays

Our stay at this rental for March 2012 was very enjoyable. The advertisement for this home is right on the money! We found the house to be very comfortable and cozy. Everything was at your fingertips both in the house and out in the community. Loved my shopping trips to the department store called Beall’s. Our main reason to visit the area was to take in all the spring training games for the Blue Jays. A bit of a drive tp the games but well worth it. The weather was excellent for the entire month. The locals said it was an unusually hot month this year. I would like to thank the caretaker Angela and her husband along with the owner Doris. They were just awesome. The only negative thing was the cable service to the home gave you access to HD channels however, the TV’s were not HD ready and therefore watching TV was a bit annoying. Would I recommend this rental? YES! I would not hesitate to return to this rental again. Frank & Marilyn Rogers

Great place to spend February!

This was our first trip to spend a month in Florida and was very pleased with the accomodations. The pool was just like the picture. We tried swimming a couple times but the water was just a bit cold. We were concerned about the safety in the neighborhood since we hadn't been in the area before but found after a few days that the neighborhood was safe. We walked several times around the area and found the neighbors were nice and friendly too. Would we recommend it to other travelers. YES. Oh, we had our 5# dog Allie with us and she enjoyed the secure fenced yard and liked to watch the ducks and squirrels.

Home Away from Home!

It wasn't easy to leave this lovely home with such a beautiful backyard full of lush trees, pond, ducks and turtles. The yard is very quiet and private. House was clean and well decorated. Everything you need is there. The owner of the home is very pleasant and makes sure all is well. If, for any reason, you need help with anything, the caretaker responds immediately. We would return to his house in a second, but next year we are going to vacation near friends elsewhere in Florida.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home recently and we loved it there. It was very neat, clean and comfortable, and even when the weather wasn't great, it was cheerful because of the view of the pool, lanai and pond. It is near grocery stores, shopping, and of course the beach is only a few miles away. (We loved the restaurant on Hudson Beach.) Our vacation there was a very pleasant experience, and we're already hoping to return. Also, the owner and caretaker are both exceptionally nice people. Thank you, Bruce and Susan Effler

What a wonderful experience renting this little piece of paradise. Clean, comfortable, affordable luxury. Great ammenities, swimming in the morning and watching the wildlife while having your morning tea. What is better than that? Dealing with the owner was a pleasure and we enjoyed our relaxing stay so much we can't wait to go back again soon.

I need a place just to relax and unwind for a while and this was just the place. It's close enough to civilization for the shopping and dining conveniences and sites but out away from all the hustle and bustle. The house was very cozy and relaxing having everything needed. Mainly though I loved that pool and the lanai. It was cool to watch the turtles and ducks from the pond also. The property manager was also very helpful, so a big kudos for her. Loved this place. Only bad thing was I had to leave.

My husband and I spent a week here in February with our teenage daughter. We loved the waterfront view and it was a nice change from our usual fast city living and there were alot of activities for us to do as a family. My daughter especially loved the amusement park, and my husband and I got some time alone to go wine tasting. When we wanted to relax the house really was the perfect spot to hang out and lounge by the pool in private. Overall, I definitely recommend this vacation home for your next getaway.
