Description of the Port Townsend vacation cabin rental
Your own private retreat on ten wooded acres also known as The Quilcene Bay Hideaway by many of our regular guests.. 500 front feet of warm summer swimming waterfront on pristine Quilcene Bay. One of a kind vacation rental with breathtaking view of Olympic mountains.

Enchanting three story chalet style home with a wood stove, beautiful pine wood walls and ceilings, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, playroom with foosball, games and additional queen size bed.
Enjoy the large deck overlooking the bay, seals, wildlife and property. We have a hot tub, fire pit, bikes and a climbing net through the trees that is hard to believe and not just for kids.

Enjoy a short trails to the beach. We rent kayaks to explore the amazing area. This has been one of my families favorite activities for years. You can go across the bay to National Forest Land. Along the way many resident seals and otters will be present.

In the summer months the water in the bay can get warm. We have a swim float dock to enjoy anchored in the water. Jump on in it is really fun..or just kayak out and enjoy a cup of coffee in this somewhat still "untouched" wonderland.

We have spent years exploring this area. For the outdoors enthusiast it offers so many trails to hike, mountain biking, waterfalls to enjoy, beaches, mountains that my family and I have only "tapped" the surface of this truly beautiful area.

Port Townsend, Sequim, Port Angeles are short drives from
The Hideaway.

We are huge animal lovers. All profits from this home go toward our homeless and abused animal farm so pets are always welcome at The Quilcene Bay Hideaway.
Area Information
The area is incredible!! The forests, beaches, rivers, lakes, pastureland, and farms in Quilcene are all set in a magical back drop of the Olympic mountains. I believe it is one of the most beautiful places i have been too.

Perfect for a family getaway!

February 13, 2015

We stayed a weekend for our sons 13th birthday. When we arrived, they had balloons and streamers hung everywhere, he loved it! We loved the cabin, all the fun things to do in the area, and especially how secluded and quiet it was. The boys enjoyed watching the otters and climbing the rope course. We can't wait to visit again!

I wish I had written a review right after we stayed here, I'm a little late I know! I just stumbled upon this property again and remember how much we loved it! Huge home, well furnished, lots of room to just relax, great hot tub, comfy beds, cable tv, great private beach, and lots of wildlife! I wish it would let me attach pictures!!!

Absolutely perfect for our getaway

September 17, 2013

This hideaway is just that - - it's hidden, it's secluded and absolutely what we were seeking for a family reunion. The hideaway is rustic and cozy, while also feeling quite spacious because of the 3 levels. Loved that the owners thought of everything from having a well-appointed kitchen and endless supply of clean towels and linens to comfy deck chairs, multiple bbq grills and a porch swing! There was so much to do or as little to do as one wanted. The kids, in their late teens & twenties, thoroughly entertained themselves on the gigantic climbing net and kayaking on the bay while we sipped wine & soaked in the outdoor hot tub. We brought along a few of our four-legged friends, who thought they were in paradise for a few days. The only few things we'd suggest to the owners are to ensure that the wifi and satellite dish reception are in good order. We were not able to get on the wifi at all, the tv reception was quite snowy in the main living area and did not come in at all on the upper and lower-level tv's. It would have been better if these worked, but for us, it wasn't a huge deal since we were blessed with nice, outdoor weather for most of our stay. Overall, it was hands down one of the best vacation rental homes our family has stayed at, and we'll definitely be back if Martha and her family will have us. =) Thank you for helping us have an extremely relaxing, memorable and spectacular family reunion. Owner's reply:

Thank you for your kind review. My family treasures this very special place and setting. I was told the internet was out in the area those dates. Hope to have you come back any time as all the seasons have something to offer.
