Description of the Portage Lake vacation home rental

Beautiful waterfront camp rental on Portage Lake. Beautiful and NEW two-story garaga/home located on a beautiful lot on Portage Lake.

1,600 sq ft, second story home 3 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms--large spacious living/kitchen area. Interior is completely finished...siding is yet to be determined!!! :)

Garage use is NOT part of the rental. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS!!!!

Please check our calendar for availability.

Amenities include: BBQ grill w/propane, lakeside fire pit, full kitchen appliances, dishes and utensils. Dish washer, washer & dryer. Digital cable TV & Wi-Fi. Use of paddleboat, canoe and kayaks. (LIFE PRESERVERS NOT PROVIDED). Summer & winter rentals available in the heart of hunting & snowmobile country. Guide service available upon request.

The condition of the home MUST be in the same condition that it was found in...new & 110 % clean for security deposit to returned in full. (For a fee of $75 cleaning can be arranged.) Linens are provide--please bring your own towels & wash clothes.

$850 weekly rate is for 6 people--$25 per additional guest.

Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows:

* 100% if cancelled 30 days prior to the Check-in Date
* 50 % if cancelled 14 days prior to the Check-in Date

Area Information

Portage Lake is a small community on the eastern edge of the North Maine Woods. A small store and restaurant are located in the community, as well as a golf course. Major shopping is 35 miles to the east in Presque Isle, Maine.

Beautiful House

This house was incredibly clean and new. The owners are a joy to work with and refunded our deposit immediatly. Portage Lake is a beautiful body of water with wonderful scenery. This would be a great place to stay for any family who wants piece and quiet without having to "rough it" in any way.
