Description of the Portland vacation home rental

Large, comfortable 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in a quiet neighborhood with direct access to Portland trails along Stroudwater river. House has a full wrap-around porch perfect for sitting down to relax or read a book. Their is also a nice deck in back with a grill.
Open floor plan is great for families. Big, gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinets,granite countertops and SS appliances if you enjoy cooking at home.
Bedrooms are large and MBR includes a private bath with shower and jacuzzi tub.
Large, flat panel TVs in living room on ground floor and TV room in finished basement. Wii,Netflix,Apple TV and High-speed wireless internet plus plenty of board games are available.

Basement also has one bed.

No Smoking House!!

Area Information

Located in historic Stroudwater area of Portland. Downtown and all of Portland's great restaurants is 5 minutes away and access to some of the best beaches in Maine is within a 12 to 20 minute drive. Portland Headlight, commissioned by George Washington and the inspiration for several Longfellow poems is the most photographed lighthouse in the U.S. and a short 10-15 minutes away. Shopping in Freeport (Home to LL Bean) is 20 minutes away. Beaches within a 12-20 minute drive includes Scarborough, Higgins, Crescent, Ferry, Prout's Neck, Pine Point and Old Orchard Beach.
