A well kept and equiped apartment, a scant few meters away from the beach. Available facilities within the vicinity include a condominium pool, tennis court and a nearby children's park, as well as 24h security.

There're a number of pleasant beaches nearby and the one closest to the house enjoys of particularly abundant catering by a variety of restaurants, cofee shops and stores.

Access to the nearby city of Oporto is fairly simple and can be made in two trips: one to the nearest metro station, followed by a metro ride to the specific destination within the city.

Area Description

Located south of the Douro river, the general area has become known localy as the Silver Shore.

The vicinity of the appartment as in recent years undergone massive investment, turning it into a fairly actractive area. The beach itself makes for a pleasant environment, that is only hightened by a number of services, and structures.

A rough mile to the north, the Douro river meets the Atlantic, in a naturaly beautyful area that sees a variety of wild birds flocking through it each season.
Public transportation is usually available during the summer, to take you along the river until as far as the famed Port winecellars, where you can take a sampling tour that I vividly recomend.

Pubs and restaurants, within the block, a children's park a short walk (less than 5 minutes) away, and, of course, the beach.
