'Villa Athina' is a comfortable, air-conditioned vacation home on 3 floors that sleeps up to 8 people, located in an idyllic Greek sea resort by the Aegean sea. The house is perfect for large families or groups of fiends who would like to enjoy the sea, the sun and the Greek culture, including visiting the historic Athens.

The villa comprises:

There is a small garden to the front with a lemon tree and unlimited street parking.

'Villa Athina' is located in the seaside town of Porto Rafti, an old fishing village, situated on the eastern coast of Attica by the Aegian sea, opposite the islands of Evia and Andros and only 20 minutes drive from Athens airport, that makes it an ideal vacation destination.

We are located about 1100 metres from the sea front with a choice of many sandy beaches, fish tavernas, clubs, open air cinemas and restaurants. The area is famous for its excellent local wine, food, crystal clear sea and you can still buy local fresh fish every day.
Porto Pafti has many beautiful sandy beaches, restaurants and sea-front fish tavernas that serve traditional Greek food and delicious local wine. All main local amenities such as open-air cinemas, clubs and bars, pattisseries and coffee shops, doctors and chemists, supermarkets and designer boutiques are within 5 minutes drive from our villa.
There is a mini-market and a traditional Greek taverna just 3-5 minutes walk away.

For those interested to explore the area further or partake of different activities, there is plenty nearby to see and do:
- the forest of Kouvaras with its many monasteries
- play golf at the famous Glyfada Golf Club of Athens
- sample a variety of water sports and other activities nearby
- surf and have some yachting lessons
- go island-hopping from nearby ports.
- hire your private yacht with captain to cruise to islands of your choice, with drinks inclusive.

Porto Rafti is located in the picturesque Porto Rafti Bay on the east coast of Attica. It is conveniently placed near the new Athens International Airport and the Attiki Odos (new motor-way) and to connections to the excellent new Metro.
The area is rich in history. The port was a major trading place during the Ancient times and continued so until the collapse of the Roman Empire. As the town is surrounded by hills its weather is somewhat distinct from the rest of Attica and the climate is typically Mediterranean and resembles that of the Aegean Islands with relatively mild winters and hot dry summers.

There are many ancient sites and temples that you can visit, just short drives away. They include:
* the impressive temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounio
* the temple of Artemis in Vravrona
* the burial mound and museum of Marathon, and of course the Parthenon of Athens and the many museums.

Porto Rafti is only 38 km from the center of thriving and exciting Athens. It has excellent transport connections making it very easy to visit the Parthenon with its museums, the flea market and the following festivals:

* Athens Festival, held at the magnificent ancient open-air theatre of Herod Atticus Odeon (built in 161AD).
The programme includes symphony orchestras, classical drama and dance, and operatic performances. This continuous series of events is held each evening during the months of June to the end of September.

* Lycabettus Hill Festival. The programme includes contemporary jazz, pop, rock and dance shows. This is held during the summer months
