We had the pleasure of staying at Rick and Jela's villa for the month of March 2012. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had all the ameneties of home . It was a great base to travel around to other areas of Guanacaste Province and beyond .We felt very safe and made lovely new friends in the compound. The travel agency in Villagio 3 were a great help in renting a car and reserving a trip to Monteverde. Also best gelato ever in Villagio 3.We were very pleased with our stay.

The casa has lots of charm and beauty. Fully equipped with air, internet, and cable tv. Fully furnished kitchen, washer and dryer. Big pool right outside front door but with enough privacy to enjoy nice porch in the evening. My husband and I were there middle of May thru middle of June and found weather the best and never had to use ac. The casa was neat and clean and the help was very friendly and helpful. They gave us fruit from trees surounding the house. We discovered 3 beaches within walking distance, grocery store and plenty of resturants. Our favorite, La Brisas, provided great service and excellent food. Could go on, but see for yourself. Will go again.

A very comfortable, well equippted casa. The grounds were very well maintained, and the neighbors very friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better place to spend a month. Close to the beach and small grocery shops. Restaurants in the area were pretty good too. We found March to be pretty warm. Did some traveling around the country beautiful.

The place is tastefully well equipped!!I had my Mother(71) & Aunt(80) with me. We all swam in the pool daily!!! The grounds were emaculate as well as the pool! The fresh fruit and flowers around the house are wonderful!!We all got to know the workers and their names including the guards. There is a Doctor who is living there so I felt safe to leave my family behind to walk on the beach! I was surprise to find so such in such a small area, stores, outdoor eateries(fabulous food),soccer, parties on the beach, happy people everywhere I went!! I am so grateful to Rick & Yela for all they have done for us!!!!!!Will I go back to the same place...YOU BET!!! THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Villa meet most of the expectations-Safe, Clean, Cable TV for the kids, internet access for the parents, Kitchen and bath (including hot water) OK, Fantastic Pool, Very well maintain complex etc... The only thing that would have been better is the weather but I guess for the rainy season, raining everyday ans sometimes for all day is probably normal. The beach(es) were so, so (not very clean) nothing to die for - luckly the water was warm which allow for some nice bathing but the beach. Overall, we enjoy the stay thanks to a clean and well maintain lodging.

We decided to take the plunge and explore Potrero from Rick and Jela's place. It was everything they told us and more. We used the cottage as a base location to check out some of the many wonders of the area. Loved the pool and the beach and will be definately going back. Tim & Valerie, Powell River, Canada

We had been considering a vacation in Costa Rica for sometime. Since this was our first time not booking accomodation in a hotel or an all inclusive, we were hesitant at first, but found the owners Rick & Jela easy to work with. They were prompt with e-mails, providing answers to our questions. After a few e-mails we were comfortable in our decision to book our holiday. The cottage had everything we needed. Not luxury, but simple, neat and well maintained. The place was clean and nicely decorated and the small kitchen had everything we needed for preparing and cooking meals. From the porch there is a nice view of the tropical landscape and the pool next to the cottage is great. Beaches, restaurants, grocery stores are close by. To see more of the surrounding area we would recommend renting a car.

A cozy little spot for a relaxing vacation. Just pack your bathing suit, shorts and flip flops. A perfect place for a couple or a family with small children. The pool is nearby with lots of shallow water and two beautiful beaches 10-15 minutes walk away (or two minute drive). Ample spots for groceries, restaurants and other basic amenities.
