Description of the Poulsbo vacation cottage rental
Beautiful 1100 sq ft cottage with sleeping loft, eat-in kitchen fully equipped, and 1 bath with shower and stack washer and dryer. All you need to contribute is the groceries. There is a queen sofa bed in the living-room if you have the need. There is off street parking right in front. The cottage accommodates 4 people, at most.
Here at Loon Bay you are centrally located between Poulsbo, Bremerton, Silverdale and Keyport. The cottage has a 42" flat screen TV & DVD, internet wireless access and it is quiet and restful. We have a fairly large collection of videos if you would like to browse them and borrow to view. Enjoy a great view of the bay and Bainbridge Island, and via a private staircase, you can access our rocky, shell-covered beach. At low tide you can walk to the local marina, enjoy some hot chocolate, a bite of lunch/dinner or a glass of wine and take a stroll along the pier, watching the yachts and red sails in the sunset!
There is a BBQ and table and chairs right outside the door of the cottage. Summer evenings are wonderful to laze around and have a cocktail especially when is stays light until almost 10 p.m. during the summer.
Shells are plentiful on the beach so pick the best ones as momentos of your visit.
18 years and over. No children, no pets.
Keyport, population probably 700, has a Naval Museum open to the public on certain days. It has one of the best Steak Houses in Kitsap called Whiskey Creek. Don't blink your eyes or you will have already gone through Keyport
Poulsbo is a Nordic and very quaint town with beautiful shops and nice places to dine. It has a lovely waterfront park and a great way to spend some time.
Silverdale is a "dream come true" for the shopaholic and is one giant shopping area with a mall and many smaller shops. There are many good restaurants there and AMC and Regal Cineplexes.
Bremerton is shipyard town and quite large. There are some lovely residential areas but it's mainly a big Navy base. Manette is a chic little area and has a couple of really fine restaurants and Bremerton Waterfront hosts faires and events during different seasons.
All these areas are within minutes of Loon Bay Cottage.
