Bear Tree Cabin Near Downtown Prescott

Charming cabin in a quiet wooded residentail neighborhood near downtown. Lot is average size. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom is in the loft. It's an open and very relaxing space with a queen bed and flat screen TV. The bathroom has been remodeled. There are 2 bedrooms and another remodeled bath downstairs. The moose bedroom has a double bed and the fish room has twin beds and the internet connection. The bedroom/bathroom layout is perfect when 2 couples are sharing the cabin. Fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave,refrigerator with ice maker and other small appliances plus everyday spices. Seating for 6 in the dining area. The living room has a new 42" flat screen TV. The front deck overlooks pine trees and boulders. It's a great place for morning coffee or evening coctails with the birds and squirrels. There is a gas barbeque off the back deck. The cabin is well maintained and very clean. Because we never know how pets are taken care of, we cannot allow them. Never, ever, ever. Shedding is a problem and ticks and fleas could be a bigger one. It has been suggested by previous guests that this property may not be the best choice for small children or anyone with mobility issues due to the deck steps, wood flooring, stairs and location of the hearth.

This is our home away from home so we are looking for guests that will appreciate a moderately priced property and be considerate of it. We prefer smaller groups.

Prescott has something for everyone. Fishing, hunting, hiking, shopping, dining and a casino. There are often special events held on the courthouse lawn. While it is growing, Prescott still feels like a small town. It's 10-20 degrees cooler than Phoenix and about 90 miles north from the Loop 101 and I-17.
