Description of the Prescott vacation cabin rental
The cabin is rustic and cozy with a game room including a pool table, air hockey, shuffle board and poker table. Outdoors you have a large firepit, horseshoe pit, basketball hoop and play ground swing. There are 2 master suites with full baths and 2 additional bedrooms. The bunkroom sleeps 6 on bunk beds with lower futon mattresses that are great for kids or a family who has multiple young children that want to sleep in the same room. There is also an additional bedroom with a queen bed. The large living areas includes oversized couches and lots of floor space for additional sleeping. The property is on 4 secluded acres.This is a fantastic place to be enjoyed for family getaways, reunions or corporate functions. We are confident you will enjoy your stay and return often.
Area Information
There are hiking, horseback and bike trails throughout the mountain that take you thru beautiful terrain that goes on for miles and miles. You will also enjoy visiting the lookout tower at the elevation of 8600 ft.
Quad and ATV riding trails and roads lead all over Prescott, we often take trips to Lynx lake for breakfast or ride to Crown King for lunch and fun.
We have ridden our quads from Lake Pleasant all the way to our cabin thru Crown King, the trip is about 6 hours of riding and explores beautiful country.
Goldwater Lake is about 4 miles from our cabin and has fishing, volleyball courts and a picnic area. Lynx Lake is also in the area.

Our family stayed several weeks ago to celebrate mom's 90th birthday. It was a dream vacation situated in this homey cabin in a awesome setting. Everyone including mom was impressed with this cabin! We made memories to last a lifetime in part due to our surroundings. I think a couple of us will use our pictures taken while the surprise snow was falling from the deck for our Christmas cards! Just beautiful.

Great Cabin!

This was a great cabin! We went here for our Grandparents 60th anniversary. I highly recommend to everyone! Some warnings, though... There is a door in the bedroom upstairs that opens up to a ledge in the living room. There's a warning on the door, too. Also the cabin runs on a well, so be conservative. There are 2 HDTVs, one in the living room downstairs (maybe 40 or 42 inch TV), one in the family room upstairs (maybe 50-60 inch TV). Also, the cabin has Wi-Fi, which wasn't in the description or the amenities list. Overall, the stay was great! Thank you so much for having us!

Thanks for the kind words and great review. I'm glad you enjoyed your grandparents anniversary. Congrats to them! Being conservative with the water is required when you have a large group. The well produces water and there is a 1500 gallon storage tank in the garage that is more than efficient for most groups. The warning alarm will notify the guests when the tank reaches 750 gallons. Also wanted to mention that there is a lock on the door that leads to the ledge and a sign asking people to leave the door closed and locked as well as a large leather chair blocking the door.. I'm kinda surprised you mentioned it. We hope to hear from you again soon!!!!! Thanks Again.

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR OUR WEDDING

This was the perfect location for our wedding to take place. The cabin was large enough for everyone to sleep comfortably. Every room was amazing and so spacious. Extra bedding and linens were provided. The kitchen was awesome, had everything we needed. The outside surroundings were amazing. After talking with the family members that stayed there with us, we would definitely like to rent this cabin again for future vacations and/or holidays. The only quirk/complaint(s) we had was that we did not have outside lighting where the vehicles were parked by the garage and with some of the plumbing in the middle of our stay. Also, after talking with the owner and not realizing with the amount of people in our party and the cabin running on a well, we definitely needed to remember to be more conservative with water usage. Overall, our experience staying there at the cabin was simply AWESOME and look forward to renting it again. Thank you John for your help and such an awesome place =)

My family and I loved our stay at this cabin. Enough room for a 20 + people but cozy enough for 8. Loved the outside fire pit and bar as well as the wrap around deck. The inside is amazing as well with the living room fire place. Overall wonderful place.

Our group of 22 were very pleased with the accommodations of this cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone. The facility provided extra mats for sleeping on the floor and we brought some of our own. We would return to the facility, especially in the summer when we can take advantage of the beautiful forest area.

We are a Sales Group who every September go somewhere to motivate the Team to close out those final months of the year. This cabin takes you into paradise. There is plenty of wildlife, lots of places to explore with the utmost privacy to just sit back and relax and forget about the normal daily rat race going on in the world. This is a place to call and bring your families - friends - neighbors you will not be sorry. The whole place is done in such a manner you will catch yourself always saying wow. This cabin will be something you will always remember. Just a few miles from downtown Prescott but the cabin itself is so private. Every part of the cabin is done to the utmost perfection so all you need to do is enjoy the peace and quite. Our Team gives this place a 5 Star rating.

Absolutely perfect vacation at this Log Cabin Lodge in Prescott! Incredible value for the price!! If you want a secluded location with lots of choices for fun, this is your destination. There is a game room with a pool table, shuffle board table and air hockey table; as well as an outdoor fire pit and quad rentals right on site. Satellite TV and wireless internet is available if needed and the owner is a gracious host, truly caring that we were happy while we were there. Lots of room if you have a big family get together or spread out if it is just for one family! Weather was perfect too!! Definitely will go back next time we are in Prescott!! Thank you, John!!!

My four sisters and their families, my parents and my family stayed at this cabin for a full weekend. We enjoyed it thoroughly. There was so much space for everyone, and the place was very well kept. We hope to go back one day. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large family :-).

You would have to see it to believe it! This privacy location is AWESOME- especially having 4 kids, 4 teens, and 9 adults in one home making so much noise during the day thru the "night" (PARTIES) with "NO" neighbors complaining. This cabin has many rooms for all 17+ people! It has a room/place for everyone to play, eat, nap, sleep, 3 showers, 3 toilets, and 1 huge jacuzzi! Also, it has satellite TV and wireless internet! I can't describe the enjoyment my family, my in-laws, and I had in this cabin! The sad day was leaving. I highly suggest for anyone who has a big family, wants privacy, and have indoor/outdoor fun to rent this place! I promise myself and my family that we will now start planning vacations to Prescott just to rent this cabin! Really large cabin

I hesitate to call a home that is 5000 square feet a cabin, but that is what the owner John calls this beautiful log residence in the hills above Prescott. It is about 2 1/2 miles along a somewhat primitive dirt road, but we arrived in a couple of 15 passenger vans without any problems. The cabin is huge with plenty of room for a bunch of people. The master suite is magnificent with a big jacuzzi tub and both a king and single bed. There are a couple of living rooms and several fireplaces. On the first level there is a game room that the kids would love. While it is located out of range of cell phones, there is a phone at the cabin and long distance is included. High Speed internet is also available. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it for those needing a place large enough for a group. It is extremely quiet and private, a great place to get away.
