Description of the Prescott vacation cabin rental

This Beautiful cabin has over 1500 Sq.feet of wraparound deck and is located on Spruce Mountain. Amazing views reach over 100 miles. Every Bedroom comes with a Private Patio and sliding glass doors. The cabin has wood ceilngs, direct tv, a wood burning stove, firepit and perfect views from the house and decks. This makes a perfect getaway for family and friends.

This house is fully furnished with all kitchen appliances, linens and towels. Bring your food, clothes and toothebrush.

Every room has a wall heater and there is a wood burning stove in the great room for ambiance and heat. You can enjoy biking, hiking, walking, sightseeing or relaxing in this great high elevation area of Prescott.

Prescott is less than 10 miles from the cabin where you can enjoy eating, drinking, museums and shopping in Downtown Prescott.

Enjoy Horseback Riding, hiking and Bike trails through the stunning terrain of the Prescott National Forest. The mountain trails go on for miles and miles.

Theres fishing and boating to enjoy at Gold Water lake which is less than 5 miles from this beautiful cabin. Lynx Lake and Watson Lake are also in the Prescott area.

Spruce Mountain is known for its trails and wildlife. The hiking, biking, atv and horseback riding is absolutely incredible. Prescott features all sorts of attractions including lakes, rodeos, great restaurants, and street fairs. The shopping and Whiskey row in downtown Prescott have always been a great tourist attraction.

Terrific family weekend in the mountains

We stayed at the cabin over Easter weekend, with our two young boys and dog. Everyone had a terrific time and we really loved being able to walk out the door and right on to hiking trails and fire roads. It was so peaceful up there and the stars at night were magnificent. Spruce Mountain lookout is a short walk up the dirt road and was a perfect first "hike" for our young kids, but it connects to miles of trails for more serious hikers. The views are amazing and the cabin was clean, comfortable and well supplied (kitchen basics, dish soap, toilet paper, a terrific grill, etc.). We had a terrific time at the cabin, and enjoyed exploring downtown Prescott on one afternoon as well. Just a few things to be prepared for: as another reviewer mentioned, the drive up to the cabin has a few miles of bumpy dirt roads. Our Honda CRV made it just fine, but I wouldn't want to drive up there in a car with any less clearance! Also, the water pump and generator were kind of noisy. We only needed these for a few minutes a couple of times, but just don't be surprised that your mountain peacefulness will be interrupted for short periods here and there. Neither of these things should stop you from visiting the cabin, because it was a truly wonderful weekend. Can't wait to go back in another month or two, and as our kids get older and can enjoy the remote location more.

The cabin was comfortable and very quiet. The views were spectacular, the turkeys and deer were fun for the kids to see. We enjoyed the Prescott area along with the 4 lakes we fished. I am sure we will visit again.

This cabin was beautiful! I really enjoyed spending time on the big deck and watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee, and grilling steaks on the grill in the evening. I also liked the layout of the cabin with all the rooms downstairs so those who like to stay up later talking by the fire can do that without disturbing the others. It was a great time for our group of 5 guys. We had a management meeting there and the furniture was comfortable, and the layout was nice for setting up a projector screen and using the digital projector on the coffee table. The road to the cabin is good. You don't need a 4-wheel drive to get there, but you probably wouldn't want to take a Toyota Camry up there either. Also, it's not too far from Prescott so it's not a big deal if you want to go there for lunch or Dinner. (Speaking of that, we went to El Gato Azul in Prescott for lunch and they had amazing Chicken Fajitas for like $11).
