On a secluded bluff overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean, Princeville and The Cliffs Resort are a breathtaking blend of tropical contrasts. Nestled between shimmering seas and sculpted emerald mountains, The Cliffs at Princeville is a lush 22-acre hideaway and one of the most spectacular resort settings in the Hawaiian Islands.

Our condominium suite offer quiet privacy and all creature comforts in a spacious, tastefully appointed "home-away-from-home" atmosphere. Our privately owned, newly furnished & equipped condo features a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, all new appliances & all amenities including internet connection and is upgraded thru-out well above the "usual" rental property.

On-site amenities at The Cliffs Resort are two Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool w/2 Jacuzzis, Gas Barbeques, Bicycle Rental, Mini Putting Green, Kids' Playground, Volleyball Court, Horseshoes, two Shuffleboard Courts, a Half Basketball Court and Golf Discounts, if interested. The Resort Services include an Activities & Travel Desk, Business Center, Fax & Photocopy Services, Security, Video Rental, Beach Towels and a Country Store. The Cliffs Resort is a "5-Star Gold Crown" Resort.

At the entrance to the Princeville Community there is a Full Service Shopping Center with a large Grocery Store, many Specialty Shops, many Restaurants, Banks, Gasoline Station, Post Office and a Library. Old Town Hanalei is just two miles down the road and it's such fun to poke around in with it's many shops and restaurants. The quaint village is a dream-like place on a half-moon bay with an uncrowded, 3-mile white sand beach. I've lots of local information to share, as well, as to beaches, restaurants, tours, luaus, hiking, kayaking, off-road adventures, Farmer's Markets, arboretums & gardens., etc..........

Area Description

Kaua'i, The Exquisite Garden Isle, is considered by many the most beautiful of all the Hawaiian Islands. The legendary home of the Menehunes, Hawaii's "Little Men" and Kaua'i's mystical cloak of things-that-were add enchantment to it's superb setting. Kaua'i is a study in amazing extremes - a private world of rugged natural beauty and uncommon luxury. Kaua'i is the stuff of which dreams are made, the very definition of a tropical paradise: lush and green, slow and easy.

The island is small and round and old, which accounts for the fierce drama of it's sea cliffs and deeply sculpted valleys. Two-thirds of the island - it's deep green heart - is almost impenetrable, with tropical rain forests mostly pristine to man. Mt. Waialeale, extinct for six million years, sits near the very center of the island with 400 inches of rainfall yearly at it's summit. Kaua'i's average temperature ranges from 70° to 86° near the coastline with cooler temperature in the higher mountains areas.

If golf is your passion, then Princeville is your paradise. The famed 45-hole Princeville Golf Complex is adjacent to The Cliffs. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the 27-hole Makai Course and the 18-hole Prince Course are ranked among the world's most challenging and picturesque championship courses. The Prince Course, rated #1 in the State of Hawaii, will test your game from the ocean's edge, through majestic mango groves, over deep ravines to unheralded hill tops for views you will long remember. The Makai Course, many years in Golf Digest's "Top 100" is embodied of three 9-hole courses aptly named Ocean, Lakes and Woods and there you will find just that to challenge your metal. If Tennis is your sport, then you will enjoy the Tennis Complex and Club located at the Makai Golf Course. Lodging Tax: 12.25%
Deposits: 1/2 total rental amount to confirm. Balance due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Confirmation of my charge(s) to your credit card will be mailed to you via postal mail at the time the charge is made. 30 days prior to arrival date I will mail a map from the airport in Lihue to your front door, entry information, all information needed for your stay + local north shore information.
Other Fees: $115 Departure Cleaning If your plane departs late in the day or evening you can pay a 1/2 night rate and extend your stay (when available) so you don't miss that day on Kauai. Please ask.

I, my husband and our two boys absolutely loved our stay at this condo we can’t wait to go back. The condo had basic needs like pots, pans, utensils coffee pot everything you usually have at home it was very easy to feel comfortable. Spacious open rooms for fresh air and light to come in, everything is modern and seems new or very well kept. The best part is it was CLEAN! Down to the fresh clean wrapped sheets in the closets. Our favorite thing was waking up to sunshine and crisp air sitting on the balcony drinking Kona coffee taking in silence and looking at the view …oooh so wonderful. I have recommended this condo to everyone I know that frequents Kauai. This condo will be our vacation home when we visit the island again. ENJOY!

What a great value! Very comfortable and down right luxurious in some ways. Everything is there for a easy stay...pots and pans to laundry soap beach mats and chairs to books and dvd's. My only beef is that there was no conditioner. But shoot for the price, it was unmatched!

Thank you! We had a great time on Kauai. Your condo had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for our group. I fell in love with the area. I do believe the north shore is my favorite part of the island. The colors are so vibrant. The tropical plants and beaches are heavenly. I even enjoyed the roosters and their chicks!
