Best vacation ever

The pictures online were very impressive, but there was nothing quite like going into Neal and Barbara's house the first time and looking out at the views. I almost fell over thinking that we would be staying there for a week. I really can't imagine a more purifying, relaxing setting! Neal and Barbara were also excellent hosts and clearly care deeply about their guests' experience. They provided us with a number of guidebooks about the island, had several of their own recommendations which were Right On, and had made sure the house was scrupulously clean before we arrived. The house itself is large enough for many people to share without feeling cramped. The master bedroom is totally separate from the other wing of the house. I have already booked another two week vacation at Hale Mana in the next 6 months. It was that great.

I recently had an opportunity to stay at Hale Mana with my family. This was truly a vacation of a lifetime. Most of the party traveled from New York to have this time spent together and this property did not disappoint! All the amenities of home, perfect floor plan with plenty of space and privacy complimented by the amazing views and soothing sounds of the breathtaking waterfalls. Add to this the charming town of Kilauea - we really started to feel like locals. When booking, the owner was so helpful and eager to provide us with all of the information to help us feel confident we were making the perfect decision choosing their lovely home (and with 8 people considering, we had plenty of questions). When people reminisce about the spirit of Aloha, this is what they are talking about (I don't believe we turned the TV on for more than 2 hours the entire 9 nights we stayed). If you are looking for a unique experience with privacy, comfort and beauty, this is the place for you.
