Description of the Princeville vacation home rental

Private home for rent by owner in Princeville Kauai! Rent a 3 bedroom, 2 Bath home for less than a hotel room! Luxurious home with full kitchen, 3 lanais, outdoor shower, Free WiFi, short walk to beach. Located on the North Shore of Kauai near the Town of Hanalei and the Napali Coast. Our vacation home has a 1.5 acre private park off the back yard which gives you space to practice your golf swing or just watch the sun set over Bali Hai!

The house is decorated with a tropical motif featuring Tommy Bahama furniture, local artists works and lush gardens. The lanais provide extra living space for outdoor dining and enjoying the mountain views. We have provided those extra amenities that make your vacation special; 2 sets of golf clubs, beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, snorkel gear, outdoor shower, video library, area guide books for hiking, kayaking and adventure tours.

Area Information

Princeville is located on The North Shore of Kauai near the Napali Coast. There are so many beaches you can visit a different one every day! The town of Hanalei is a short drive away where you will find quaint restaurants and shops and a laid back atmosphere. Hanalei Bay beach is a long crescent shaped beach which has great surfing, sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Anini Beach is a spectacular family beach with and offshore reef that provides protection from large waves. The Napali coast has the Kalalau trail which has the most spectacular views of the coastal mountains right from Kee Beach. The Princeville shopping center has a grocery store and shops for the gourmet cooks, along with weekly farmers markets in Hanalei and Kilaeau for fresh tropical produce.

Many adventure tours are available from the North Shore with kayaking or sailing along the Napali Coast, ATV tours in the Princeville Ranch, Zipline tours, Native Garden tours, helicopter tours and much more. There is time for it all with beach, trails and organized tours! The North Shore is the place to be!

Fantastic home

We were fourth time in Princeville, three times we rented homes and once a condo. This home was definitely the best. Awesome master bedroom, two bedroom for kids or another family if you have a company. Very quiet, nice neighbors. Home is very clean and looks new. Comes with many nice things, like WiFi, Flat screen TV in the main room, smaller TVs in every room (not that we used them :-)), DVD player, a baby chair, even a printer to print your boarding passes when you head back. And since gardens around don't have banana trees, no roosters to wake you up at 5 pm :-)

Coming from a treehouse on the south shore, this place blew us away for its finish, amenities and attention to detail. From the fully equipped and supplied kitchen to the banana lounges to the very efficient ceiling fans and snorkel gear, everything we could possibly need was on offer. Particularly, the serene and persistent quiet was the most enduring memory of this lovely place. Thanks to Liz also for supplying directions to a local, walkable private beach that made our final evening oh so memorable. Highly recommended.
