We had a great time and vacation in Kauai!! One reason was our condo located in a beautiful and secure location within walking distance to a grocery store, interesting shops and delicious restaurants. Our condo had tons of room for all six of us and most everything you need for time at the pool or on the beach: Boogie boards, towels, chairs and even a noodle! The washer/dryer helped keep packing to a minumum. Be SURE to use your sunscreen and have a great time! ALOHA! The staff at VHR were great as well. Alway's welcomed with a cold bottle of water.

Adrian W Kirk Big Hawaiian Vacations charged us for a set of new towels ($68) after they claimed we damaged a hand towel. We told them we didn't wash nor use the hand towel. Adrian W Kirk said they had this issue in the past and would contact Costco where they first purchased the towels to replace the hand towel. In the end, they failed to go to Costco to replace the towels--and immediately swiped our credit card before this issue was resolved. Also, we told Adrian W Kirk of existing damages in the Villa upon our arrival and they didn't fix them during our stay (broken screen door locks, shattered window). In the Rental Agreement, Adrian W Kirk states that they will fix any damages during the week of our stay. This was the most petty and worst rental experience we have encountered during all of our local and international rental experiences. We won't be renting from Adrian W Kirk Big Hawaiian Vacations or any of their rental properties again. :(

Bright, sunny and spacious condo. Great location to wonderful beaches. Enjoyed use of pool and hot tub in a tropical garden setting. Very friendly community. A wonderful holiday. Would definitely return.

The North Shore of Kauai is one of our favorite vacation spots with great golf, incredible, uncrowded beaches and some of the most beautiful hiking trails on Earth. Last time here we rented a house on a hill above Haena. We found Princeville to be a better base camp for taking advantage of the beaches from Annini to Tunnels as well as giving us easy access to restaurants from Hanalea to Kiluaea. If you're a golfer, this location can't be beat. The condo is on the beautiful, fun and challenging Makai course, about 300 yards from the clubhouse, and maybe a little over a mile from the Princeville course. The condo itself is very nicely appointed, clean and in good repair. Kitchen appliances are fairly new and a barbeque grill is a short walk away bear the pool. We found that we made coffee and breakfast in the conda most mornings before getting out to the beach or golf for most of the day. A trip to Costco in Lihue on our way to the condo from the airport probably saved us a couple of hundred dollars on bottled water, breakfast items, wine and liquor over local market prices. The condo was perfect for my wife and I, though I think it would suit a family with kids or two couples vacationing together very well. Be aware that the garage is rather small with just enough room for a small SUV or mid-sized sedan. We thought this was a very good value for the price.
