Description of the Princeville vacation townhouse rental
Kamahana #9 offers one of Kauai`s best values in luxurious vacation living.

The elegant, 2,050 Sqft, non-smoking accommodations of Kamahana complex capture the simple, comfortable, tropical island spirit atop the bluffs overlooking Anini Beach. It is extremely spacious and private and feels more like a house than a condo offering you the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. Very comfortable for a family.

One of the largest two-bed/two-bath condominiums on Princeville. It's no wonder it was retained by the architect as his family condo. It features extra-high, vaulted ceilings and 3 private lanais. King-sized bed in master bedroom and two Twin-sized beds in guest room. Open floor plan for kitchen, living room, and dining room. 2 TVs and DVD player and stereo in living room. Wireless internet available for those who can not unplug.

Your cares dissolve within the ripples of our crystal blue pool. You can also walk out of the living room onto the lanai and stroll less than 100 meters on lush green grass to view a magical lookout over a coral reef of the magnificent Kauai North Shore coastline with the Kilauea Lighthouse and Secret Beach. Depending on the season, view rare nesting albatrosses, nenes, and perhaps even humpback whales cavorting in the distance. Paradise awaits!!

Kamahana #9 is just 25 feets to parking and only one step to navigate this first floor layout.

Kamahana #9

February 20, 2011

I enjoyed staying at this condo very much. It was very clean, spacious and relaxing. All the ameneties were there. The master bedroom was great! The owners were very nice to deal with and offered tips on where to go in Kauai. The only problem we encountered was the people in the condo upstairs. My roomate who was in the smaller bedroom, could hear "everything", including the guy snoring while she was trying to sleep. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Beautiful island, wonderful condo

Just a few steps from the parking area, this spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is perfect for a stay on Kauai in Princeville. We stayed for 11 nights and had a great time. The owners, Larry & Akemi, have furnished the condo with all that you need and more. They even have 2 ice chests and a load of beach gear for you to use. In the pix of the condo, what you see is what you get, except that they just added a large screeen HDTV on the wall of the living room. All this and at a price my friends who were on Kauai the same time we were could not believe, VERY reasonable. This was our first time to Kauai. It's great to know that we have found a place to call home for our next visit.

The Cliffs

February 3, 2010

Great place to spend while on Kauai. Close to northern beaches and the wonderful little town of Hanelai.Condo is clean and well equipped. We especially appreciated the beach equipment- beach chairs, coolers, beach mats, that were available for our use. Condo is well appointed;however we were disappointed to find that the second bathroom was on the lower level and not adjacent to the second bedroom on the second floor. We found this especially inconvenient during the night. Also the noisy roosters that were very prevalent in the area made for quite a few early morning awakenings. Onsite amenities at the Cliffs resort were well used. Staff at the resort's activity centre were very friendly and helpful.

Not quite what we expected

January 26, 2010

Decent condo, but from the pictures it wasn't clear that people would live above us, and we would hear every footfall and conversation. The pictures also gave the impression that it was closer to the water instead of off the parking lot, where headlights from the road beamed into both the living room and the bedroom. No air conditioning, which would have helped to drown out the INCESSANT crowing of roosters and clucking of chickens that freely overrun the property. On the plus side the condo was clean and had the basic amenities.

Far From Heaven

October 29, 2008

When we tried to enter the door we could not slide the screen. It had no rollers. We actually had to lift the screen door to get in and out. We found the condo in need of repair and cleaning. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. We were renting with another couple. They could not shut their bathroom door because it would not slide at all. There were no hangers in the closet. There was dog feces under our bed and the closet doors were broken. The carpets throughout the condo were badly stained. The washing machine was very dirty along with the closet it was stored in. This condo was advertised as something it was not. I would not stay there again.

We really enjoyed this condo. It was in a great location and easy access for snorkeling. Home was decorated very nicely and exceeded our expectations.
