We enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. This offered enough of the comforts of home without too many of the distractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkeling and diving adventures on the island which was our main reason for going. I love to cook so having the facilities in the unit to do so was a nice benefit. We did enjoy the many wonderful restaurants as well, especially Aqua. Barry and Marta are very helpful and will assist you or provide you with nearly anything you need. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. My only complaint is that almost everywhere on the island, there are ants. So keep your food in the fridge and they won't bother you. We will miss our almost daily snorkel or dive trips, we love the aquatic life that thrives in the Turks and Caicos. We saw and photographed are flamingo tongue, featherduster worms, parrotfish, green sea turtles, french grunt, queen angelfish, lobster, porcupine fish, barracuda, triggerfish & much more.
Owner Supplied Testimonials
This is our first trip to the Turks and Caicos. We have enjoyed it very much. Paul and I did three days of diving with Flamingo….what a great staff. We definitely appreciated the small group atmosphere and experience offered by Flamingo plus a willingness to show us some of the best diving in the area. A special thanks to Marta for arranging the babysitting and to Victoria who helped with the kids. A highlight was Taylor Bay beach. The shallow water, lack of crowds and beautiful sunset were wonderful. We very much enjoyed Harbour Club Villas…the villa has been great, we enjoyed the pool, BBQ grill, birds and Marina.
After a long research showing us limited family accommodations here on Provo (except all-inclusive-eat-our-food-onlys)we were thrilled to find such a nice villa for us to stay at. Once we were here, it has only gotten better. Our children, Anika 2 ½ and Solomon 9 months, have had a blast and the not-so-young kids (us)…have enjoyed all of it. Our rental car has taken us from shore to shore, beach to beach and bumpy road to bumpy road. We loved our stay and even the rains! Thanks for sharing your Provo island and reefs with us. We would love to come and visit again. The grounds and villas are lovely…you’ve done great work here. We really put some mileage on your barbecue….snapper/ribs/chicken/veggies….what a plus for the Rocky Mountain folks…next time grouper/sea bass etc.

About the Harbour Club Villas - you are not amongst the "famous and popular" resorts of Grace Bay. You are in a place of total relaxation, peace and tranquillity. And, if you are like us, this is why you?re here. You are surrounded by beautiful gardens, a pool complete with its own tiki hut, a private verandah and your own villa. This is a private, quiet place to unwind. A place to experience things not offered at home. But, there is more. You have, literally, at your beck and call, two of the kindest individuals to ever run a resort. Not pretentious nor stuffy, Barry and Marta immediately made us feel welcome. Honestly, if you needed them to bend over backward, they?d probably give it a try. From the fresh flowers on the table every day to the knowledge of the island, these two left a lasting impression. We didn?t meet the "managers of the resort". We met two new friends. They invited us into their home and made us feel like family. A rarity in life. Well, enough about the resort, hopefully, you?ll soon see for yourselves.
On to the diving. This is the reason we came. The Turks and Caicos consistently rank high on the list of world class dive destinations. We now know why. This was our first time here and hopefully won?t be our last. On our hosts? recommendation, we went with Flamingo Divers.
Flamingo Divers might not have the newest, shiniest boats, but they offer so much more. Lynn, Wayne and Carol have enough knowledge of diving and the surrounding waters they could make their own documentary. In fact, their pictures and writings have been published. That alone should speak volumes about their credibility. They offer a personalized service with safety at the top of the list. Their genuine care for the underwater environment is evident. The type of divers who maximize your experience while making certain you are truly cared for. When choosing a site, they consider all factors. Visibility, current, winds, skill level and most of all crowds; or lack thereof, rather. We were never pressured. We were able to go at our own pace and our numerous questions were always answered with patience. Plus, they did everything but breathe for us. Very accommodating.
The reef life was spectacular, the walls beautiful. We saw everything from flying gurnards to several reef sharks. Eagle rays, turtles, jacks, spades, grouper all in abundance. So many dives you "might-maybe-sort of" catch a glimpse of a larger animal. Here, they are common. All this in only 6 dives. Four dives off West Caicos and two off French Cay. All were outstanding. And, the fish seem less shy. Maybe just our imagination, but after floating perfectly still for several seconds, even the most timid of creatures, a turtle, decided to investigate "up close and personal". Truly humbling. This place is so special. We must have stumbled upon a bit of heaven. The Harbour Club Villas and Flamingo Divers are worth every penny. Enjoy!
Our sincerest thanks to Barry and Marta.
Your generosity and kindness set the bar. We have never met resort managers as nice as you. All others will be judged by the standard you set. Exceptional! To Lynn, Wayne, and Carol at Flamingo Divers.
No money on earth could compensate you for the genuine care we (especially Yvonne, the pest) received. The dive experience was, truly, once in a lifetime. Our memories of you and the diving will last forever. Thank you.

We enjoyed our seven nights here tremendously!
The villas were wonderful. We felt very comfortable here and loved the accommodations. We are already talking about coming back again soon! We pretty much did scuba diving this whole trip. Marta was such a gem?she helped set up the dives and got us hooked up. We dove with Flamingo Divers. They were very professional
and very personable and nice. We found them to be very helpful and informative. The walls are spectacular. Marta and Barry made us feel at home the minute we got here. They were excellent hosts. They had nice ideas and were very informative. Marta had all the special touches.
Everyday we came back, we had subtle, beautiful touches like fresh new flowers in the conch shell and in the martini glass! Anyone who asks about ?TCI? will be sent to Harbour Club from us! One of our most enjoyable dive trips.
PS. Marta has some excellent fish and coral books to borrow. We had dolphins follow the boat one day and we saw whales!

Turks has a great deal to explore along with some terrific secluded ocean beaches....the owners were very gratuitious and are located away from all the typical "see the sand" only hotels...the Villa's are very lovely,.spacious, new..and extemely clean.....if you wish to find comfort, privacy and a chance to know some of the locals...this is the place to stay.....after exploring the entire island and daily walks upon Grace Bay I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Provo.....fished for Bone's daily and saw many at Turtle lake but also drove to a new location each morning to explore and found it truly relaxing....however I?ve learned with Bone fishing....its a lot easier to see them than hook em......but when you do...you'll enjoy the experience....

We came for two weeks to celebrate my 60th, hoping for lots of snorkeling, kayaking, walking and good food. All of which we have. Best day in our was 15. Feb, sunny all day not too windy. We kayaked out to Bay Cay?.deserted island with the iguanas. We took the two seater which took on some water on the way back?...lots of paddling but well worth it. Just waiting for wind and therefore choppy water to abate to re-visit the island. Excellent food everywhere. Baci for Valentine?s dinner. Magnolia for birthday dinner (superb with brilliant service) Snorkeling at Coral Gardens brilliant plus swimming with the turtles, day trip with Sail Provo from Leeward Marina a must. Snorkeling and rum punch to die for! We have already visited most of the island. We have also walked everywhere??great walking. Marta changes towels and bedding and flowers almost daily and together with Barry have given us good advice about where to go and what to do. Plenty of sun but too much wind and in week 2 weather warmed up, considerably less cloud, much less wind in fact it is almost too hot now! Discovered South Bluff, interesting caves and inscriptions from shipwrecked survivors and an osprey and miles of lovely, deserted beaches. Great for an all over tan. Discovered Sapodilla and Silly Creek and the breathtaking turquoise of Chalk
Sound. We spent more time snorkeling at CG and Smith?s Reef. Saw lots of turtles and a ray. We walked at sunset to Turtle Cove and the Tiki Hut. We saw an osprey at CG flying low over the sea with a fish in its talons ? WOW!

Our lodging at Harbour Club Villas was excellent. It was nice this trip to be away from the hustle and bustle of Grace Bay. The villas are a great place to relax and get away from it all. Barry and Marta are both very gracious hosts. Between the use of the phone to arrange taxis to baking a pizza for us, what more could a guest ask for? The villas are very clean and comfortable. The flowers and landscaping are very nicely kept. And did I mention bonefishing? Where else can you go and catch bonefish practically outside your villas front door. If the weather had been better, I would have like to explore more of the area, especially with the sea kayaks. Lots and lots of opportunities to catch lots of different types of fish.
We hope to return in the near future. I would definitely recommend Harbour Club Villas to our friends. Tonya and Brian Stone, Seattle,
This undeveloped island with its pastel blues and emerald
colours is a work of art. One stunning vista follows another and we are caressed by the warm breezes. Our internal clocks started keeping slower time as we enjoyed the unrushed pace and the beauty.
Our hosts, Barry and Marta were wonderful. Their gracious
manner made us feel at home immediately and my wife and I
have nothing but praise for them. Thank you so much for your
hospitality and consideration for every little detail during our stay.

We preferred a more remote, self sufficient, uncontrived approach to the Turks and Caicos as opposed to the resorts and their “all inclusive” captivity. To each his own. Do not get me wrong, those resorts are very nice but you tend not to explore as much. I for one, rarely travel to a destination without my fly fishing gear. For those of you who are comfortable self guiding for bonefish, let me just say that bones are here! Nice chunky ones at that. I landed 4 bonefish with my 8 weight fly rod across the way in Flamingo Lake but my best day was spent 2 hours either side of high tide in Turtle Lake. Tailing , hefty, single bones had me enraptured for hours. I stalked, cast, changed flies, lengthened my leader, changed flies, again...had countless very good shots, even at a tailing school of about a dozen 20 feet away but didn''t catch a one! Still, It was the best day of bonefishing, away from all the cares in the world, relaxed under a tropical sun, I''ve had for years. Without a doubt the "adventure" highlight of the stay at your lodge was our self guided kayak trip to our own, it seemed, desert island. By gps I measured it to be 2.8 miles (as the crow flies) from your dock. It takes just short of an hour. You don''t have to be an Olympic athlete but you do need to have a degree of stamina. The result is worth it. There is a sliver of a nice sandy beach at the right corner of the island as you approach it. Walking high onto various rock outcroppings result in stunning 360 degree views of turquoise sea and the "mainland". The snorkeling was right at our fingertips and according to my expert, Patty, the best she has experienced. Besides the array of nameless colorful fish we saw lobsters embedded into coral heads, rays undulating with grace and a huge crab resembling the Alaskan King. Upon arrival you will be greeted by a few of the transplanted iguanas ...placed here in the hopes of sustaining their depleting numbers. I also enjoyed exploring the island with its understated flora. We even saw the remnants of some type of small fort like formation. Wish I knew the history behind that. In any case spend at least one day there, bring a cooler and a dry bag if you can and by all means chase you partner around the island naked!

We arrived at Harbour Club Villas after leaving behind about 3 foot of snow back in Connecticut. The sun has been out ever since! Barry and Marta have been wonderful to us. We have enjoyed our stay here very much and look forward to returning next year. I have fished almost every morning or afternoon down in Turtle Lake. I have seen bonefish every day but unfortunately not hooked up with any "yet?” I saw about 50 to 60 bones tailing along the mangroves the other morning. What an impressive sight to see. Two beautiful flamingos were there as well. We have enjoyed kayaking in the canals, watching the sunset out at the point and grilling up fresh fish and steaks by the pool at night. Thanks again Barry and Marta for making our vacation one we will never forget

Its been an incredible week here at Harbour Club Villas. Its so nice to be away from the HUB BUB of tourism and resorts with gobs of people everywhere, among fun loving real folks! It was all we had hoped for and more. The rooms were charming, clean and spacious. The fresh flowers every day added a special touch that was always fun to come back to after our dives. Our only suggestion would be a little breakfast table outside each villa. Your recommendation for diving with Flamingo Divers was right on target for us beginners. We could not have asked for a better dive team to guide us on our first real diving adventure. Mickey and Jayne were the BEST!!! We will always remember you two with your warm smiles and friendly hospitality Best wishes and hope to see you again some day.
