Description of the Providenciales vacation villa rental
'Mothershouse' was designed by award winning architect Ron Shaw on Babalua Beach adjacent to Grace Bay beach. A visually stunning yet child friendly secluded retreat for your family and friends. Location is well suited and equipped for weddings, energy yoga weeks or corporate events. A large and gorgeous beach front villa that can sleep up to 22 people! With five ensuite bedrooms, unique octagonal shaped ensuite two bedroom bunk area (sleeping twelve), spacious dining area, large sun decks, west facing sunset deck the house can comfortably and privately accommodate all members of your family and guests.
There's more to Mothershouse than swimming in the heated infinity pool or walking the beach. Provided for your enjoyment are glass bottom kayaks, life jackets, snorkeling equipment, hammock area, volleyball areas, swing set, children's toys for indoor and outdoor play plus a fireman's pole from play loft in bunk area!
Mothershouse is equipped for the elite discerning guest.
Please note: The waters to the direct north, east and west of Mothershouse (Babalua Beach) are protected by the TCIG Fisheries Protection Ordinance as 'National Park'. Our guests are always encouraged to enjoy these waters via swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle-boarding etc. - essentially interacting with and observing our beautiful marine life. Shore Diving is Prohibited by law. Any attempt to damage or remove any marine life without approval and licensing from the Department of Environment and Maritime Affairs is a criminal offence and guests run the risk of arrest under the Laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Area Information
Babalua Beach on Providenciales island in Turks and Caicos offers a great feeling of privacy and seclusion. The location is minutes from the airport, restaurants and shops but distant enough for a peaceful and tranquil vacation. Mothershouse is located on a bluff west of Grace Bay beach and Turtle Cove Marina. From the sun deck of the villa are spectacular Caribbean ocean views.
Babalua Beach although close to the popular Grace Bay and Turtle Cove Marina, is separated by Turtle Cove Marina's entryway thus allowing limited access from busy traveler traffic. What this offers you is the encouragement and pleasantness of a beach where you can just simply enjoy!

Q:What do your rental rates include?
A:The 2013 rates include: daily maid service, daily management, airport transfers to and from villa for all guests staying at Mothershouse, welcoming villa stock up service and concierge services (ie: restaurant bookings, activity bookings etc)
For 2012 same as above but without daily maid service. There is a mid-week clean available but additonal fees apply if guest amounts are 10+.

Q:Can I have my wedding or event at the villa?
A:Yes! Mothershouse villa and property is a beautiful place to host your ceremony, lunch, dinner and/or reception. For large or small weddings, we can accomodate. We have a highly recommended event and wedding coordinator who knows the villa and island very well. There is a booking minimum of 3 nights in low season and 5 nights in high season. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns.
Q:Are there any additional fees?
A:There are some additional fees that may or may not affect you.
There is an additional 11% government tax on top of rental rates.
If you plan on booking for 2012, there is a mandatory daily maid service fee of $750/week if your guest amount is 10+ and $150/day for additional days. 2013 rates include daily maid service.
Chef services are available but at an additional cost. Price ranges from $150-$300/person depending on what is required. A quote can be requested based on guest numbers and meals per day.
A security deposit of $5000 is required to cover any additional costs or damages that may occur beyond wear and tear of property and/or overuse of A/C. This is refundable (totally or partially) depending on how you treat the villa and property.

Q:Would I need to rent a car?
A:It is highly recommended to rent a car for your stay at Mothershouse. Although the villa is close to shops, restaurants and airport, the public transit and cabs aren't very reliable or cost effective. We usually recommend Grace Bay Car Rentals for our guests.
