Description of the Provincetown vacation apartment rental
This condo, totally renovated in 2007, has a large great room with living, dining and kitchen and a comfortably-sized bedroom with two twin beds that can be made up into a king. You can sleep two additional persons on the full-sized futon sofa in the living room. You are up two flights of deck stairs to your private deck with the same view of the beach as you see above. You can walk right down to the beech without crossing any streets or leaving our little complex.
Area Information
By the early decades of the 20th century, the Provincetown had acquired an international reputation for its artistic and literary output. The Provincetown Players was an important experimental theater company formed during this period. It is now the most concentrated Artist Colony on the Eastern Seaboard. Our own complex has 3 art galleries and a photography studio.
For gay travel, Provincetown is currently a destination of choice during the week surrounding the July 4th holiday - with spectacular fireworks on the 4th. The mid-August week, Carnival, is another prime week, but for the four months of June through September, Provincetown is a place like no other.
It has the best resturants - and many of them - on Cape Cod, justly famous for seafood.
A bike ride through the dunes on a National Park bike path is a remarkable experience.
Sailing, boating and kayaking in the harbor is available with rented boats – and you kayaks can be stored on our beach.
A whale watch trip guarantees you will see whales, and deep-sea fishing trips are offered by over a dozen professional companies.
A favorite pastime is walking past the dozens of clothing shops, galleries, bookstores, gift shops, and furniture accessory stores on Commercial Street. They’re open from 10 in the morning to 11 at night.
