Wonderful Retreat!!

From the location well off a back road to the rustic charm of the house and property, the whole experience was relaxing. My husband and I stayed for a brief getaway. Waking up as the sun rose and walking out into the grassy area was so serene. We are familiar with the Hudson Lake area and this cabin and property is nestled in the perfect spot - not too far from the boat launch and not too far from the store! Yet it's secluded.... We love it. And we WILL be back!!! Thank you for providing such a lovely retreat!

A peaceful place to get away

I highly recommend this rental for anyone who wants or needs to retreat from the chaos of everyday life. The Boatman farm is a place that I return to in my mind often and physically every 6 months. I have experienced some of my most peaceful times here. Thanks to Ken and Sonya for making this available. My children also count this as one of the places that they feel most at home.

A:Our farm is a personal homestead, completely equipped with modern amenities to make your vacation easy. Providing a nostalgic atmosphere with things from Granny and Grandpa’s day. A step back in time to help you remember the good ol’ days when life was simpler. The smells and sounds of country living will bring you back to your childhood. Our home is great getaway with kids in mind, which allows parents to sit back and relax. Lots of old time movies & games such as dominos, chess, checkers, cards, farkle, nintendo, horseshoes and more. There’s a fire pit to roast marshmallows by campfire while telling stories and a hammock to relax in while taking in nature. Enjoy a sunrise on the porch while drinking coffee or sleep in till noon. The choice is all yours, in our secluded home surrounded by almost 20 acres.
